If you must use a saw, I would go as slow as possible to keep the heat from friction low (use a hand saw if you only need straight lines). As an alternative though: ABS sheets like the one in this listing can be easily forced to break across a scored line. To do so just use a sharp knife to score your line or shape onto the smooth side of the sheet (you do not need to cut all of the way through; for a 1/4" thick sheet, a score that is 1/16" to 1/8" deep is plenty, but deeper will make for better results). Make multiple passes if need be to get a deep enough score. Once your score line is cut, place the sheet on the edge of a solid surface and flex the sheet alone your line until the sheet makes a clean break.

Answer:	As with any product adhesive is only as good as it surface tension will allow. Power grab by loctite works well, but for the best result you may want to rough up the glue side surface first.

Answer:	Not very much. It will snap in a rod shape but a living hinge design may last several times.

Answer:	I am sure the smooth coat if sealed good will be good for over a year. However the best way to find out if it is any good is to try a small amount before you pour any in your mold. If it sets up in the expected time, it's good to use.

Answer:	I used a wood mitre saw and a metal hack saw both by hand and cut fine and no problems, it would be safe to say yes.

Answer:	I have not machines my piece yet but in general yes Acetal is very machinable and not gummy or stringy

Answer:	Like any plastic, it becomes more flexible with heat. I left the quarter inch stock I bought in the sun and slowly bent it around a four inch diameter bilge pump. When cool, I was able to run a coarse thread tap and use nylon nuts to affix the ends as a nylon U-bolt.

Answer:	I don’t know if there is a limit on thickness, but a little bit goes a long way. Estimate based on the volume of the finished product.

Question:	can this be used to fill in deep scrapes in a bumper
Answer:	I don't think I would use it for that. This epoxy will harden to a durable hard plastic, much like ABS. Although it does have some elasticity it's really designed for more rigid applications than a typical bumper cover. This is great for repairing things like cracked or broken plastic as might be found in car dashboards or appliances. It could even be used to rebuild areas that have missing areas.
Question:	Is this product heat resistance? I need something to repiar holes in a plastic solar water heater
Answer:	I used this on some hub covers of my truck lug nuts. it is very hard when cured. Only good if fresh shelf life bad. make sure you ruff things up to bond to your piping or what ever.
Question:	My hardshell bag was slit during handling - 2", sides could be fitted together. The shell has give in that spot. Will it hold up to baggage handling
Answer:	If the hardshell has some good years of use ahead, I would give it a try. My experience with the product is that it held up very well in repairing a cracked door that gets a good deal of use. How it will hold up depends on how well the material is applied and how much rough handling the bag gets, among other things. Good luck.

Answer:	no not really, you need to cook the noodles, hot water alone would take much longer and probably not thoroughly cook the noodles. I don't believe there is enough heat in 2/3 cup hot water to thoroughly cook the noodles. You need to apply heat to the 2/3 cup water for the noodles to cook.
Question:	Instead of a microwave, can I use boiling water
Answer:	Go to warehouse deals, click on grocery, choose price low to high and you'll be surprised what you can find.

Answer:	Depends very much on how you cut. Hack saw cuts in delrin look like hack saw cuts in anything else. You can get very smooth finish but tool shape is important. If you cut off 1/2" slices then face them in a lathe they can be very smooth. Low feed rates with the tool cutting edge at a low angle to the face with large clearance and relief works for me. For finish I cut relatively wide (cut depth 0.02-0.04") but thin chips. Chips do not seem to weld together like some plastics so partiung off is also an option. Delrin is slick so work holding can be tricky and can deform the piece. Also heavy cuts will be hard to hold dimensions because the delrin springs back after the cut. It sands easily too but clogs sandpaper amazingly fast. Deburring is also a pain.
