Answer:	Her mouth can't hold a pacifier or thumb on its own (not made for it), but you can hold her thumb to her mouth to pretend. :-)

Answer:	I think the newer dolls are not scented. Description now says fragrance free. 2019 and our doll came unscented.

Answer:	I Wouldn't Try Machine Washing The Doll, As I Think The Soft Body Would Get Lumpy And Perhaps The Seam Would Separate. However, I Think It Could Take Gentle Washing With A Clean, Lightly Soapy Cloth.
Question:	Why is this for 18 months and up? I think my 14 month old would like it as she keeps playing pretend with everything

Answer:	When Amazon sells an item from their stock, they price it themselves. They vary their prices on all dolls and products, depending on demand, stock, and many other reasons. The manufacturer sets the Suggested Retail Price and Amazon varies the prices up or down based on automatic calculations. Both ethnicities should be $24.99. It also may have to do with the fact that the African American babies are brand new...hopefully they will match the pricing soon.

Question:	Is the entire body made of vinyl? Can kids wash them in a bathtub with water
Answer:	Dolls are a mix of vinyl (ams, legs, head) and cloth body. They are not recommended to be bath toys, even though, the dolls are washable.

Answer:	Yes, all JC Toys Dolls are phthalate free. In addition they pass all USA and International testing requirements for safety! You can be assured that our toys are designed with love and with our children's safety in mind.
Question:	Is this doll washable
Answer:	Only the face, feet and hand can be washed with a damp cloth. The remainder of the body is cloth, and washing is not recommended.
Question:	Does the doll have a scent / odor? We have one that has this "baby powder" scent, but it smells more like moth balls to me. Quality of clothes
Answer:	I wish I could answer, but it's a Christmas gift and is already wrapped, so I can't sniff around. Sorry! What child wants to smell moth balls on her baby doll?

Question:	Can this doll go into the bath tub, or will it fill with water
Answer:	It can but it will get water in it. My daughter gives hers a bath all the time and I have to remove the head to dry it out. It comes off and reattaches easily. I know that sounds gruesome but it's the only way I can dry it.
Question:	any clothes that can fit a la newborn original
Answer:	Really only the clothes it comes with or other doll clothes. However, we did put a newborn onesies on it. A bit big, but works if you fold it down around the waist. You should also know it is a bit tricky to dress this doll because of the way the arms and legs are molded. My 5 year old can't do it herself at all. But, still a totally cute doll, we just don't change it very often.
Question:	can she drink and wet and does her mouth open wide enough to fit a real paci and bottle
Answer:	No. She doesn't actually drink or wet. She is watertight for bathing. She is well loved. I too feel it would have been neat if she actually did drink and wet.An actual baby bottle would not fit far into the mouth opening. The one year old that I had gotten this for actually had to try the baby dolls bottle herself. It was really sweet. I had planned on her mother putting the pacifier away until the baby was a little older since she is only one year.It is the best baby doll I could find these days that actual looks like a baby and I am happy that all three little ones each love their baby. I actually may be getting a fourth one for another grandchild.-

Answer:	Absolutely not. This is the tiniest stroller I've ever seen. It only fits these tiny babies. The handle is only about 5 inches high.

Answer:	I bought the boy doll Nov. 2017. It is smiling, as in the pic. Not a big grin or LOL smile, as an older baby often does; it's the smaller smile of a younger baby. Also, a previous poster mentioned that the limbs "are positioned and not changeable". The elbows and knees are not flexible but the arms and legs (from the shoulder and hip) can be raised and lowered.
