Yes, they are real cards. My son got a golden trainer card and one gx card in the batch I purchased. He was happy with the cards. I was not because they were lose and thrown into a ziplock. They had been gone through. After reading other reviews I was very nervous about these, so I put them in the stocking as a stuffer, and he was happy that way. We bought some other that were resealed and the seller wouldnt refund after receiving my return so amazon had to do it. Avoid "TCG (buy 2 get...)" at all costs. My son, an avid pokemon collector, recommends buying Gx boxes from Walmart so you know they're all new and not weighted or resealed.
