Question:	I want to use both a light and laser. Will this allow me to still use a light from another manufacturer, such as Surefire
Answer:	Yes, you can mount the light on the rail, the laser is offset to the right so you can run both. I highly recommend the laser, I could pound nails if I could hold my gun steady.
Question:	How is the laser activated
Answer:	Once your laser grip is in place there are two button on the very rear of the grip. The one lower on the grip is recessed and turns the laser on and off contrary to the first comment. The non-recessed button at the top of the grip activates the laser when you have put the gun in your hand and gripped it properly for firing. When you relax your grip the laser goes off but does not completely turn off. That is done when you have pushed the lower recessed button again, to save batteries.
Question:	any lefties using this grip and and does a normal grip obstruct the laser
Answer:	I don't believe that it makes a difference if you shoot left or right handed. The laser sits above where your fingers are and will not be obstructed. This crimson trace will replace the grip. The only reason I would suggest not to purchase it would be if you had the ambidextrous safety. I love my crimson trace, so much so I also put it on my conceal weapon.

My problem is struts on both of mine failed after three years of average access opting about once per month

Question:	This kit has brass "jags" and bronze "slotted tips." For about the same price, other kits have these pieces made of plastic. Which is preferrable
Answer:	I guess it is a matter of personal taste. Brass will not scratch steel, so like plastic, you can use it without worry. I personally like brass tips. Every plastic tip I have used in the last 60 some years of shooting and cleaning weapons has ultimately failed. It bends a little bit every time, and then fails at the bend point.
Question:	Would it be possible to buy 2 more sections for the rod? this would make it serviceable for use on ar-15 type rifles. the case can certainly fit them
Answer:	It might, but I couldn't be sure due to i bought this kit for my acp 45 ruger and my wife s&w ez slide 9mm. I wish you good luck i hope it works for u. My next would be ar-15 rifle.
Question:	Will the 45 brass also clean a 50 cal desert eagle
Answer:	The .45 caliber brush is designed to tightly fit the .45 caliber bore. An additional .050 of an inch in bore diameter will produce a much more loose fit when using the brush designed for the .45. In short, you can use it but you will not get a good scrubbing effect. The kit is very nice. Add a .50 caliber bronze brush and go to town. After all, you are only talking about a few extra bucks. Just make sure the .500 brush has the same thread pattern as the kit's rod.

Answer:	No, it didn't fit my SW M&P 22 compact. I had to buy another attachment.
