Build, Learn, Play

The Erector Set comes with a handy carrying case. Not only does it help your child organize the many small pieces of their set, it allows them to take the set with them on the go. The instructions are helpful and clear, showing in detail how to build the models, and stating clearly what pieces are needed before your child gets started. Please note, however, that there are no text directions, only illustrations. The plastic pieces can feel flimsy at times, but children testing the toy didn't seem to mind and played for hours.

Kids can build up to 25 different models using the illustrated instructions, or they branch out with their own creations. From planes to cranes to helicopters, there is so much that can be built with the 643 nuts, bolts, wheels, screws, and metal pieces that come with this set. Question:	I see detailed instructions for only 11 of the models out of 25. Does anyone know how to assemble the remaining 14 or am I missing something

The one that I have says that the kit has detailed assembly instructions for 11 models and 14 suggestions so to help you with your question On how to assemble all 25 I would take a guess As I'm not real sure about this. But I'm thinking if you go to The Meccano website they may have further instructions. I hope this is of some help to you. Happy building.
Question:	What age is it designed for
Answer:	My grandsons are 9 and 7. They are above average on learning skills and they seem to have some problems with assembly. In some details, it leaves you a little vague with instructions. I would say a good age would be 10 and up.
Question:	I wanted an erector set made in USA. Are any set made in USA or France
Answer:	Meccano, an originally UK based company making similar toys for Europe and the rest of the world, bought the Erector brand in 2000. in 2013, Toronto based Spin Master bought Meccano and has used the Erector brand name in the US to keep the familiar name around for consumers. These sets are either made in France or China, depending on the parts. Erector hasn't been made in the US for many years.
