Answer:	Yes. It is supposed to, mine did. It squeaks till this day.

Answer:	Can't soak or wash it. Only wipe it off with a wet cloth.

Answer:	No straps to wrap around the tree, I wish it did. It didn't have hooks to screw into the tree either. Luckily I had screws from other swings that also had straps. Used them. My grandsons like the swing.

Question:	Is this suitable for a one year old
Answer:	I could not say for sure if its bpa, since I gave it away to a friend for her baby. But I am pretty sure that I read that it was. The book itself is about 4 x 6 but then it has some fun things hanging on. Easy to the touch and it makes that crackling sound that kids like so much. The baby liked it a lot.
Question:	Are they washable
Answer:	I usually hand/spot wash with dish soap, or depending on what is inside I'll put in a pillow case and wash with delicates then hang dry (depending on what is inside due to avoiding mold).
Question:	How small does this collapse
Answer:	I wouldn't know the exact material. (I believe a cotton of some sort ) Although it crinkles which made my Grandson love it all the more ❤ I think whatever was used to make it crinkle, was in between the pages. WELL WORTH THE $.
