They will coilup tight enough without breaking (measured diameter with tape measure) and fit into the bottom of a 16x16x16” box. The padding should roll up pretty tight and you could even vacuum seal or zip tie it. Then stuff the rest on top. If you have any room you can cut the box down to make it shorter in height for a decrease in shipping cost. Hope this helps.

Hearing that we might have over-corrected, we have since added length back to the attachment straps. New shipments going forward should have the longer straps. Answer:	Pad itself unvelcros from wooden bars and can be put in washer using cold water and gentle cycle. And it says to air dry it after. I haven’t tried washing it yet but it does seem fairly easy to undo and wash. Instructions say the rest of the items should be wiped clean
