Answer:	I'm not sure. I'd recommend calling the manufacturer. Otherwise you could probably use a different string from something else, although I really prefer the one it came with.

Answer:	Yes. On most beads (or cars, or animals) there is at least half an inch on either side of the bead when they are threading it. I purchased the cars and the farm animals....he prefers the animals. The cars are basically all the same, but the farm animals have a smaller duck, chicken, hen...those are easier to hold. Also its a double win because he was learning to recognize the cow and says Moooo when he holds it!I would definitely buy this toy again, we love them and still play with them daily!!!

Answer:	No, you can just clean them. I fill the bath tub with vinegar and water or a little bleach and water either one. Then I dump all bath toys in to soak. Before I empty it, I squeak the toys to fill them and empty them thus cleaning the inside. We never have mold and the tub gets clean too!
