I can say confidently that they float very well and drain out amazingly well. Plus, they can be popped open when needed to give the inside a good cleaning. Our 18 month old boy has also identified some other great uses for the subs. He uses one outdoor to water plants which -- because it has a handle - is actually quite feasible and practical. Also, because of the handle, this makes a really good sand toy. He can push and maneuver it around and likes to do that. Personally, I am happy to use it as a piece of "art" since it is so well constructed and has that 'quality' feel that is so elusive to find but which you know when you hold an item. Last comment: This is not a flimsy plastic toy. It is built rugged and meant to last. It survives being tossed out of the tub and pool onto tile and concrete surfaces. it has handled a number of flights down two flights of stairs. Question:	Is this a good bath toy? I see a vent/hole in the front of the boat. Does it sink
Answer:	My boys use it in the tub and it will sink if they tip it too much or push it under the water. Usually if it starts to sink they just dump it quickly and keep playing. The vent is pretty high up on the bow so it isnt constantly just filling with water. We love it! Hope this helps.
Question:	Will fisher prices little people fit in this toy
Answer:	The pilot & the boat captain that come with the toy do fit into the helicopter & boat.
Question:	How big is the helicopter
Answer:	I don't know the exact dimensions, but it is a relatively large toy.
Question:	Will an adult cat fit on this
Answer:	Cat and hampster product test. Our small adult cat fits snugly in the bay and our hampster fits comfortably in the helicopter. Getting the cat in the bay is difficult since the cat isn't too fond of water. The hampster is a poor swimmer.
