Answer:	No, it does not spin, the balls all pop and continue a bit before you have to pump the handle again. I was just playing with it with my 1 year old grandson and it kept his attention for the normal amount of time for a 1 year old! I purchased these for them and they LOVE that they shake and add an extra dimension to the noise of this toy. The only drawback is that these don't have "green" and they are plastic. Currently they are $8 (Prime) for a set of extras. They do hold up very well though considering the twins fight over them constantly and bang them around with the hammer and any other toy they can find. Answer:	There is a switch like most toys do with low and high volume. But it still has enough volume that everyone can hear especially your little one. But the sound with bouncing balls is the fun part that they enjoy the most. My LO absolutely loved this toy.
