Answer:	I have this right in front of me, and gusset of the bags I have measure 8 1/4" by 4 3/4", so the 5" is correct.

Answer:	yes, sure the paper bags are recyclable.
Question:	Is the depth really 7.5"? If so, the bottom would almost be almost a perfect square, just 1/2 inch off. It doesn't look like it is in the pictures
Answer:	Half a gallon of milk weighs about 4 pounds. I have put 4 pounds of peanut butter in there, and it held fine. But, since the milk container can have condensation on it, I would be concerned that the wetness would weaken the bottom of the paper bag. if the milk container is totally dry, you should be able to carry it, the paper bag can handle the weight.

Question:	Would these fit 3 oreos stacked on top of each other
Answer:	I ordered the 6x9 bags and I would say that these are to large for just three oreos stacked on top of eachother. I would go with a smaller bag, there would be a lot of excess and the oreos would probably end up all laying down NEXT to each other long ways instead of stacked (hopefully that makes sense). The bags arent horribly flexible and are somewhat rigid so I would stack three oreos and measure them and give yourself an inch on the sides and maybe three inches of wiggle room on the top where you will use the twist tie and you will be good to go.

Answer:	No. They are flat. They fit 1 bubble container for a kids birthday party. They are also cheap so the rip at the seam really easy. Not worth it. Find a bag that gives 3 measurements like 4x6x1, it will open more for food etc.
