Answer:	Even though this machine is not an embroidery machine, you can learn to do beautiful embroidery work on it by learning free motion embroidery. In fact, one of the cool presser feet that comes with this machine is the open toe darning foot, which is a bonus!... People who wish to embroider, use this foot to do so. You Tube has many fine videos that will show you how to do free motion embroidery, on a regular machine, with just an everyday wooden hoop. Just type in free motion embroidery tutorials in the you tube search area, and you will be busy for hours, learning to this method. Enjoy!

Answer:	Depends what you want it for. Simple sewing like clothing or piecing quilt tops should be okay - putting quilts together NO! The throat is not big enough for free motion quilting and it doesn’t do well with bulky material. Your needle will snap, bobbin will have a nervous breakdown and you’ll get error codes that will make you want to pull your hair out when you try to clear them. But if you set on buying this model or the CS6000i here is the skinny - it is easy to use if you stick to the book or YouTube for help and FOLLOW the step by step instructions. It’s a cute machine for newbies but an albatross around experienced quilters necks

I love idea that you can sew without using a presser foot, but can control your stitches on the front of the machine. Love to be able to see when the bobbin is getting low, various speeds, even some decorative stitches for you. It's quiet, fun, light weight for taking to classes, or for my motorhome. This project is a great way to keep sewing needles organized, and what’s a cuter shape than a house? You can have different houses for different kinds of needles, or you can add more “rooms” (extra pieces of felt) to your house and use different rooms for different types of needles.

Directions

1. CUT THE PATTERN AND FABRIC. Print and cut out the Needle House pattern. Pin the pattern to two layers of felt. (When pinning for cutting, make sure the pins are inside the pattern piece, or you might cut a pin and damage your scissors. See page 25 for more details.) Use the fabric scissors to carefully cut out a house from both pieces of felt.

2. SEW THE LEFT SIDE TOGETHER. Take the two pieces of felt and place them together. Pin the left sides together. (When pinning for sewing, pin with the pinheads sticking out of the fabric.) Thread the needle and knot. Using a whipstitch, sew the left side to create the “wall.” Once you get to the end, tie a finishing knot (see page 18). Every time you start and stop sewing there should be a knot.

3. ADD YOUR NEEDLES. You now have a home to store all your needles.

However, the The manufacturer states that it contains "two friction modifiers". As I said in the review, I don't know exactly what that means in the context of the 100% synthetic claim.

Question:	The instructions are a bit confusing. I cannot figure out how to take the front bobbin out or rewind a new one
Answer:	My machine stopped working within the 24 hours I opened the box. I was unable to rethread it. When I tried, it got stuck. We had to get rid of it and buy a new (adult) one for our kids. Apparently, the children ones are not of good quality.

Answer:	I would think about another option before purchasing. I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter and after spending much time deciphering the poorly translated instructions, trying to thread the machine and show her how to see a square of fabric, it still is a very awkward learning experience for a 6 year old. I’d probably save this for when she’s 8 or 9, and honestly it is so cheaply made I doubt she’d be able to learn the basics.
