INSTALLATION:

There's three or so parts that don't connect that you'll use to do the actual weaving and moving of the yarn. The greater the number of warp, the denser the woven texture. Below are some examples of double warping techniques. 1. Take a spool of thread. 2. Tie a knot on the slot of the lower beam. 3. Secure with a dead knot. 4. Wind the thread from the first slot of the bottom beam and pull to the upper beam. 5. Hang the thread on the first slot of the upper beam, pass through the first teeth and come out through the second slot, then return to the first slot on the bottom beam. 6. Wind the thread through the second slot on the beam. 7. Hang the thread on the second slot of the upper beam. 8. Wind the warp thread from the third slot of the upper beam to the second slot below. 9. Repeat winding two threads to each slot. 10. Answer:	No, most looms including the Cricket do not come assembled. But this is pretty easy to put together. It's small, can put on a table or counter to assemble, no need to get on the floor. If you need help, perhaps you can 1) ask a neighbor, friend or family member to help, 2) seek out a yarn shop in your area that sells rigid heddle looms, 3) contact a local hardware store for a handyman they would recommend or ask if they could put it together for you; be sure to tell them how small it is in case they picture a big floor loom - which the Cricket is not!

Question:	What color is the loom? There is a blue and a green loom in the pictures
Answer:	I cast-on, then alternate e-wrap and purl for the entire afghan. No curling edges.
Question:	Can a four year old do this activity
Answer:	I used Lion Brand Homespun (weight 5 yarn) for a large blanket measuring roughly 48 inches wide and close to 6 feet long. I think I used 9 skeins of that yarn and it has 185 yards per skien in the solid colors. I have found that the Lion Brand website has the best patterns for afghans and it gives you an idea of how much yarn to use.
Question:	are the posts curved out to prevent the loops from slipping off
Answer:	The picture I'm looking at shows the gears on the outside but, my Cricket has all the gears on the outside.
Question:	Can you use fingers? How old are children when they do this

Answer:	It is not very likely as the bands are long lasting as we designed them to be.
Question:	This came in an unmarked plastic bag with instructions, and lots of typos. is this what you all got? did i get a knock-off

Answer:	This is not likely, but it depends on the haire, and how they were put in the hair.
Question:	Do the glow in the dark bands actually glow
Answer:	There are about 28 colors that come with the kit, so 11,000 divided by 28 is about 400 elastics per color. There are definitely not thousands of one color.
