Three miles for a FRS radio is wishful thinking; 1/2 to one mile, unobstructed line-of-sight is more likely. You put trees, buildings, rain, snow, concrete, or metal between you and the other person, and your range drops dramatically.

Question:	Is there a better stand? It always comes loose, every 2-3 minutes. Very frustrating
Answer:	We bought this in a local toy store, and the woman gave us a zip tie to put on the stand for this very reason. Lame-o on the manufacturing, but this was a genius and easy fix! I wish I could explain easily where you'd put it, but I guess it's simple enough to say "where it's always coming apart!" Luck! :)

Answer:	I do not have the box any longer, but it was not large.
Question:	does it glow during the day or only at night
Answer:	No it doesn't glow during the day....and you can barely see it during the night.

Answer:	I think it comes with 3 rockets..and they are reusable, so refills wouldn't be needed.
