Buythe smaller version if you dont want to install a 240 outlet at your house. A 140 amp mig welder will do most jobs around house....i usually go up to 1/4" with my 140mig anything bigger i use my 250 amp mig welder. Dont try to convert a 240 volt welder to 120 like suggested below. This will just void any warranty lol. If you asking theses type of questions just buy a 140amp mig ....there cheaper

Answer:	I suppose it could be done, but it is not needed. The Nema17 stepper motors have more than enough torque. The CNC can jog at over 200 inches per minute. and has plenty of torque for cutting at cutting feed rates.

Answer:	The cutting area is of the E4 is 24" x 24" so you would need to tile the work by cutting the first 24", them moving the workpiece and cutting the next 24". Answer:	It has roller guides that will work with .030 solid core wire out of the box, I think they recommend you buy different roller guides for flux core.

Answer:	you can run this welder on 110 volts but you will be limited to 135-140 out output (for example) with MIG. This kind of output is fine for welding sheet metal and up to about 1/4" to 3/8" steel. With the thicker stuff you will likely have to do multiple passes. With this welder you will have to do some practice welding before the real thing. it doesn't come with a chart of setting like some other welders. But, there are phone apps and other sources for this kind of information. I have this welding and I really like it. MIG, TIG, Stick.... it does it all. Plus the gas solenoid works in MIG and TIG modes so no external control of gas for TIG is necessary.

Question:	Is the push pull gun available yet
Answer:	This machine works like a standard mig machine. If you have no experience with mig you can; 1: take a course at a trade school or jr college. 2: find an experienced mig welder and ask him to teach you , or 3: watch mig videos on you tube. I strongly suggest #1 if you really want to learn properly. When you have the basics - practice, practice and do it some more. Mig is a great process and is not particularly difficult. If you go the you-tube route I recommended Jody Colliers "weldingtipsandtricks.com"
Question:	Can I weld thin alluminum with push pull
Answer:	Both of the MTS machines burn 6010. Although Everlast may not put that in writing, there are more than a few examples, Lance from ChuckE2009 is one that has tested both machines, that show how well 6010 is handled. The Hot Start Stick option is a huge plus for 6010 as well as 7018.
Question:	what accessories are sold with this welder
Answer:	Mac is wrong. You can TIG Welding Aluminum using DC Electrode Negative and helium. Its not something you can use on all aluminum jobs but it is definitely something that is very useful to know. ... While tig welding aluminum on DC has its limitations, its great for clean thick aluminum

Answer:	I use standard Lincoln mig tips with it. You will need tungsten if you plan to tig with it out of the box I recommend the CK tig kits for a wp26 torch they come with collets, tungsten, and nozzles. If you want to run smaller wire .030 or smaller you will need to go to Everlast's web site and order the other drive rollers. other than that your good to go with some flux core wire. You will need Argon/CO2 for solid wire or 100% Argon for tig. If you don't already know use good wire like Lincoln.

MIG Welding

This machine is set up to do flux-core welding but can easily be switched to run Mild Steel with gas set up. At 140 amps, you can weld up to ¼” mild steel in a single pass. Regulator and hose sold separately.

DC TIG Welding

The 3-in-1 nature of this machine makes it capable of DC TIG welding. To use this process, you will need to purchase the appropriate torch, regulator, hose, tungsten electrodes and gas separately.

Stick Welding

Answer:	Great Question! The end caps are removable so that you can take them out to butt the end hard up against a ceiling or whatever it be. If you were to butt the end up against a ceiling with the caps in, there is no way to ensure levelness.

Contact tip is an 11 series, 11-30 for .030 wire. 11-35 for .035 wire. Lincoln consumables from home depot fits, even the plastic tip for flux core.

Why is my MIG-150 Welder not welding correctly?

1. Wire-feed tension: Check the tension on the spooler. Is it set too tight or is the wire feed tension not set correctly?

2. Wire choice: Are you using .035” wire? We recommend .025-0.30" for best performance.

3. Stick out: Is your stick out too long? Your stick out should be no more than ½”.

4. Pull the trigger: To begin welding, pull the trigger on the MIG gun.

5. Proper grounding: The ground should not be attached to painted or coated metal.
