Effortless Desoldering

The desoldering gun enables one-handed desoldering operation on a broad range of through-hole components. The desoldering station is especially suitable for desoldering in-line sockets, transformers, LCD screens, nixie tube displays, IC chips, and in-line headers. The station pre-heats for 5 minutes to ensure the entire desoldering mechanism is heated sufficiently to give you a smooth desoldering experience.

Sleep Mode & Automatic Shutdown

The soldering station and desoldering station comes with a timer controlled sleep mode function. You can customize the timer duration, and once the timer countdown is finished (and the iron/gun wasn’t moved), the station puts the desoldering gun / soldering iron to idle at 392°F to prevent unnecessary oxidation while keeping sufficient heat in the tool to heat up quickly. You can also set the desired timer value for the automatic shutdown function, which begins counting down once the desoldering / soldering station is in sleep mode, and turns OFF the station when the countdown is finished.

AUTO/MANUAL Hot Air Modes

You can choose either the automatic or manual hot air modes based on your usage frequency, choosing the right mode for your work can extend the lifespan of the heating element. In automatic, the hot air gun cools to below 212°F and cuts power when placed in the holder. In manual, the hot air gun continues to operate as per normal when placed in the holder.

Suction Pen

This temperature controlled desoldering station makes desoldering of through-hole parts a breeze. If you've ever tried to de-solder parts using wick or a manual vacuum pump, you know how difficult that is, particularly on a double-sided board. You will NOT have these problems using our desoldering station, because it sucks the solder from both sides of the board, leaving the hole and component leg virtually free of solder.



The station has a dual LCD display, showing the desired temperature and the actual temperature. The display can be switched from Fahrenheit to Celsius if, and the desired temperature can be dialed-in using the up/down buttons. An illuminated power on/off switch is also located on the front.



The side of the station features a typical holder, with sponge.



Two lines (power and vacuum, both can be disconnected) connect the station to the gun. There is a filter at the station-side of the vacuum connector, and another filter in the gun itself.

Answer:	Not sure I don't use it much. I wouldn't recommend it for a daily use.

Answer:	I have mine for a few months and it works great. The only issue is the filter gets clogged easily, but not too hard to clean it. Very happy with mine. Do get the spare heating element, just in case they discontinue this model. I would definitely buy one again!
Question:	Does this have an internal vacuum chamber? The biggest issue I've seen on these cheap ones, is the vacuum has to build up pressure, solder gets cold
Answer:	The vacuum chamber is in the gun. The biggest mistake people make is to turn on the suction on for too short of a time and it clogs up the intake. Also make sure the solder is heated enough before applying suction.
Question:	What are the filter replacement sizes and part numbers? Your description just says small and large. Hard to shop for "large filter" and "small filter
Answer:	You don’t need to shop for small or large filter. They sell a kit for spare filters for this item. You just search with model number. I got extra filters and extra heating element.

Question:	How long is theHeat time
Answer:	Two to three minutes, depending on temp selection.
Question:	How do you dissolve or or melt the Sauter how do you pick it up how do you remove it
Answer:	The solder is in the form of a spool of metal, containing a rosin flux core. When you use the soldering iron, you apply heat to the mechanical connection between components to be connected, by soldering. Once the connection is hot enough to melt the end of the solder (from the spool), the solder melts, releasing the rosin onto the connection so that the connected components and the solder form an alloy, which bonds the components. The solder is not a glue to hold components together. The chemical reaction caused by the heat, rosin, solder, and the components become bonded. To remove the solder from components, you must heat the solder, with the solder iron, or a de-soldering tool. You might want to study the processes involved in soldering. I would caution, the application of too much heat will ruin components, especially printed circuit boards. There are a number of de-oxidizing chemicals other than rosin. Do not use acid, or acid core solder on electronic components. Acid will destroy the electronic components.

Intuitive Control System

All of the control & commands are done our main control knob. You can adjust the temperature value by turning the knob, or access the different menus by pressing the knob.
