Answer:	I got one with a sharp point that I use for detail work. Mine came with plenty of tips; some could be filed to a sharper point.

Answer:	I don’t know for sure but likely. The included tips are made for wood and are pretty delicate

Answer:	Yes, it burns well on leather.

Answer:	Well it is 60w and I’m not sure exact temp, but you can ask the makers that question. They have a very fast response. I do think it is roughly 900-1200 degree. 60 w and at the 63# setting it burns hard wood quickly.

Answer:	Small pcs maybe, but that could be a really big heatsink. I would look for a torch so solder it with. Just my opinion.

Question:	Can the wood engraving pen adjust the temperature
Answer:	I never tried to solder gutters with this iron, but it works well on 12/10 gauge wires. Copper is a very good heat conductor and it acts as a heat sink. That is why I would recommend to preheat place to be soldered with a heat gun, apply a good paste (Rectorseal 14000 1.7-Ounce Nokorode Regular Paste Flux) and then start soldering. Question:	Do the number tips fit on this pen
Answer:	The tips have to be able to screw in. Any tip that you use needs to be made of good material or the tip will become loose and not heat up right. Even the tips that come with this burner become loose after it gets really hot. You really need to be careful not to put any pressure on the tip while using it since that will really make them loose. If you take care it does work really pretty good for small jobs.
Question:	Is this all i need to start carving into a wooden walnut canvis
Answer:	This is NOT any of the necessary items to start carving wood.This is sufficient to get started with pyrography / wood burning into wood. Do keep in mind that it lacks any sort of temperature adjustment for pyrography. As a first timer kit or for simple projects (bold dark lettering outlines etc) it is acceptable.
Question:	Can you use this on leather
Answer:	It heats up evenly and thoroughly so you should definitely be able to use this on leather, being careful to use light touches and differing nibs for effect.
Question:	Can this be used to cut stencils? Would it get too hot for stencils
Answer:	The wood burner I got gets very hot very fast. The easiest way to cut stencils is an exactor knife or cricut machine.

How to Install the Wood Burning Pen?

Step 1

Please loose the screw and quit about 4mm firstly, then insert the pen tips. Or you will think it is insert to the button but in fact it is blocked by the screw.

Step 2

Insert the tips into the copper wire column for about 8mm or above.

Step 3

Please must tighten the screws, or the tips won't get hot and even sparks.

How to use the machine?

Step 1

Plug the power cord then turn on the on/off switch ① (on the side of the machine) to power it on.

Step 2

Turn the pyrography pen switch ④ toⅠ(left), the left pen will work. Turn ④ toⅡ(right), the right pen will work. (2 pen is for alternative usage, instead of using at the same time.)

Step 3

Turning the temperature adjustment knob to 700℃ firstly, then turn left slowly to adjust the temperature you need. (It’s better to keep the temperature between 350℃ and 450℃ when you are making craft. Don’t exceed 600℃ all the time, to protect the pen tip from burning out.）

Answer:	The metal tends to expand the first few times each nib is used. In my experience, I have used a pair of needle nose plyers to unscrew and remove the frozen nib. Be gentle, make sure you are turning in the correct direction.
Question:	Has anyone tried this kit on bone
Answer:	I've tried it on bone and antler. It works well enough but is considerably harder to work with than wood.
