There is no ongoing cost for this exept nails and it seems to work pretty good, Im sure it would preform well on solid hardwood (it will go through a formica countertop no problem and into wood below it). It's a semi precision tool and it wont take much abuse, but overall it really has alot more power than i thought it would. I'd say go for it. |

When you get to the end of a stick of nails, it will sometime jamb, but that's easily fixed by opening the nailer head and removing the jam. I am using the large lithium battery and it has much more driving force which may eliminate the firing pin from sticking. If I didn't know it was a refurb, I would think it was new. There wasn't any marks on it, and I love it. Try using the larger battery....it may solve your problem. |

| Answer: | The main difference is between the nails that this and the P320 take. The P320 takes 18 gauge brad nails and this tool takes larger 16 gauge finish nails. Functionally, the smaller brad nails have less holding power but are less visible since they have a smaller head. The larger brad nails are good for things such as base-boards but are more than you would generally need for things such as trim. In my research, I was told several times that if you are only going to get one nailer, get the larger 16 gauge finish nailer. This is because you can still the 16 gauge for trim (it just needs some caulk to cover the holes) but you generally cannot use the smaller 18 gauge brad nails for things that require more power (like base-boards). |

| Answer: | It works perfectly to run one roofing gun. I’ve bought two of them and they both could handle the work load perfectly. And to comment on one of these guys replies to your question, He said the compressor would run continuously and burn up” well that’s not only untrue but impossible. You would have to be able to lay 5 square an hour all day long not just an hour or two for it to even be remotely possible to burn up that compressor. Not saying you couldn’t lay 5 square an hour but you can’t do it for several hours straight that’s for sure. I personally have put on 11 bundles per hour for the first 2 hours and the compressor did not run continuously and even if it did it wouldn’t have burnt up. Those specific compressors are designed to click off and on as many times as you can make them do so. |
