Answer:	Everything can be disconnected. I did have to adjust the mounting plate in my RV to get the TV to fit into the TV cabinet in our bedroom.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend that. If you can't put any holes in the wall i would try 3M command strips. They work well depending on weight. Once your done with them you just pull a tab and they come right off. You can get them at just about any store with a hardware department.

Question:	what happens if the battery dies completely and is not replaced
Answer:	We purchased this product for our rv. We had to install a backing plate , (3/4 inch plywood), to the rv wall. There would be no difference mounting in your home. The ad states the unit will support up to 77 pounds, well, it might do that, but. The tv we mounted weighed 36 lbs, the swivel that allows varied tilting will not support positioned weight. NO , it does not fall off the wall, it just will not stay in any position other than fully tilt forward, which for us , was ok, as the unit was mounted higher than eye level.
