Answer:	No you have to get that separate. Mine came with one side demolded improperly and I had to shave it down to get the proper filter on.

Answer:	Please take a moment to understand this product if you are just hunting for protection against CoronaVirus/CoVid-19 It was originally meant for Industrial use, like working with paints, vapors and dangerous gases etc. Thus, this comes without any filters, allowing the user to buy/swap the filters as needed. Eg: If I am working in a Hydrogen Fluoride environment, I could snap on a H-Fl gas cartridge, whereas if I an working in a ammonia or chlorine gases I could use the correct gas filter for those. This is not designed solely for CoVid-19, however with correct filters it can work better than N-95 masks. This is because certain cartridges are only for gas (which are of zero use against CoVid-19), however there are other cartridges that offer a combo of gas_particulate filter. These combo cartridge are good against CoVid-19 as they offer P-100 protection which is close to 99.97% (whereas N-95 is only 95% protection). A good example is the pink colored "3M 60926 Multi Gas, Vapor Cartridge, Filter, P100 (2 Pack)" as it comes with a P100 filter. Also usable are those circular P100 or P95 filters like "3Μ Advanced Particulate 2291 Filter, P100". A third option is the trapezium shaped replacement filters like "3M 5p71 P95 Particulate Filter" or similar. Do note that these are just cotton pads and need a case/adapter to fit to the respirator. Answer:	To turn it on, you must cycle through the different modes. After it stays on a mode for more that 3 seconds, the next button press will turn it off. This allows you to turn it off without cycling through the modes.

Step 1

Place the respirator over your nose and mouth with bottom straps unfastened.

Step 2

Pull the top strap over your head, placing the head cradle on the crown of your head.

Step 3

Hook the bottom straps together behind your neck.

Step 4

Adjust strap tension to achieve a secure fit. Pull the ends of the straps to adjust the tightness beginning with the adjustment points at the top of the respirator and then moving to the adjustment points at the back of the neck. Do not over-tighten. Strap tension may be decreased by pushing out on back side of buckles.

Using Particulate Filters

Place your thumbs over the center of the filters and inhale gently. The facepiece should collapse slightly. If air leaks between the face and the faceseal of the respirator, reposition it and adjust the straps for a more secure seal.

Answer:	Yes, but I would recommend just spraying with dilute bleach or ~70% ethanol and wiping out and letting stand for decontamination instead.

Answer:	Hi, I have used this for automotive paint, sanding various woods with 320 / 400 grit paper = fine wood dust ! and mowing grass and pollen filled weeds, this works great !! but I have not done masonry, my guess, it would do the trick! When I am done for the day, I use a tissue to remove the condensation inside then put in a ziploc bag, cartridges last longer in my experience.

Answer:	All I know is I have this mask and the stars slide on and off very smooth holds tight it dose not fog up top of the line quality when I put it on I feel safe and comfortable just get it already

Answer:	The face respirator I bought was less expensive than this one. I had to buy plastic filters that attached to the bottom of the face mask. Amazon is just not clear about this issue. When I got my mask and read the lengthy description and directions, it was then I realized I had to order something else to complete the mask filtration system. It is aggravating to me that this question has come up with just about every mask they sell. I have not complained to them, but I think I will. I do not mind answering customer questions, but after the same question from so many folks, it is clear that Amazon is not on top of it. I think, if you order it, you will have a clearer idea of what it needs. I am sorry I cannot be more definite.
Question:	for this mask, do you need the filters in the plastic casings or just the round filter 'only' style--or are those inside the plastic case ones
Answer:	3M makes a prescription spectical frame that fits over the nose piece. Your Rx can be made to fit into this frame. You cannot wear regular glasses without breaking the face seal gasket.

Answer:	Yes it can but it has to be specific to the brand.

Step 1

Fully loosen all six head straps. Hold the front of the facepiece with one hand and the straps/comfort cradle away from the facepiece with the other hand, creating an opening for the head. Pull the respirator assembly down over the head. Place the nose in the nose cup and chin in the chin cup area then press the facepiece firmly and evenly against the face.

Step 2

While holding the facepiece in place, pull the straps over your head.

Step 3

Tighten the two bottom straps.

Step 4

Tighten the two middle straps, then the two top straps. Make sure the back of the harness is centered on the back of the head.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 twice - once to position and second to secure the facepiece seal.

Positive Pressure User Seal Check

Remove the exhalation valve cover. Place the palm of your hand over the exhalation valve and exhale gently. If the facepiece bulges slightly and no air leaks are detected between the face and the facepiece, a proper seal check has been obtained. If faceseal air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator on your face and/or readjust the tension of the straps to eliminate leakage and recheck seal. Replace exhalation valve cover. If you cannot achieve a proper seal, do not enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor.

Negative Pressure User Seal Check Using Cartridges

Place the palms of your hands over the cartridges and inhale gently. The facepiece should collapse lightly. If air leaks between the face and the faceseal of the respirator, reposition it and adjust the straps for a tighter seal. If you cannot achieve a proper seal, do not enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor.

Using Hard Case Particulate Filters

Squeeze filter covers with hands toward facepiece to restrict airflow. Be careful not to disturb the position of the respirator. Inhale gently. The facepiece should collapse slightly. If air leaks between the face and the faceseal of the respirator, reposition it and adjust the straps for a tighter seal. If you cannot achieve a proper seal, do not enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor.
