Question:	What full face respirator works best with glasses
Answer:	Yes and no. The filter contains 2 elements...the chemical filter cartridge, and the P100 particle filter material. For the chemical cartridge, it will eventually lose it's ability to filter hazardous chemicals...after 3 years from the manufacture date, after maybe a few weeks upon breaking the package seal ( depending on storage environment), after 8 hours of exposure to chemicals ( depending on chemical type and concentration). Bottom line is it cannot be "reused" to filter hazardous chemicals after it ceases doing so effectively. The particle filter actually increases in effectiveness as it becomes loaded with particles. The point at which the particle filter must be replaced is when it becomes difficult to breath through, or when it is contaminated with a hazardous substance and cannot be decontaminated. If using to filter pathogens, the particle filter can be disinfected with hydrogen peroxide (3%-7% H2O2 1 min or more contact time) and used until breathing becomes difficult. Spray with H2O2 until wet and keep wet for at least 1 minute, and allow to dry fully before using again. Just note, it will no longer filter hazardous chemicals and can be used to filter particles only, and should be marked as such. If the contaminant is a hazardous substance like asbestos, lead or a chemical, discard the filter using appropriate HAZMAT protocols after 1 use.

Answer:	No, this will not protect you against a zombie apocalypse as zombies are not created through airborne particles. Answer:	It depends on which filter you use. There are specific N95 as well as P100 (even better) filters for these respirators. Even an N95 filters at least 95% of particulate matter at its LEAST efficient filtering size, 0.3 microns. It is due to physics, and it seems counterintuitive, but these filters are the least effective at 0.3 microns yet are more effective at filtering particles both larger than 0.3 AND SMALLER THAN 0.3 microns. Answer:	Its filtering effectiveness can meet or exceed that of N95 paper masks, depending on which filters you use. In terms of its practical value, I prefer it to essentially every paper N95 mask out there. I am a private practice anesthesiologist and I now wear N95 gear with virtually every patient I encounter. I also happen to have chronic CHF (from a LBBB; my LVEF is in the 10-15% range) so I can experience shortness of breath sitting still in my living room. I am more sensitive to the smothering effects of all manner of respirators, and in my line of work I have a wide variety to choose from, including some $250 Honeywell 76008A masks which Homeland Security arranged for us to have in April. As one who has used THOSE respirators - and indeed I personally purchased a 76008A from a government agent - THESE “17 in 1” respirators are VERY MUCH comparable. Issues with the smell of the silicone or the polycarbonate etc are on the level of vanities. All of these induce claustrophobia, embarrassment, some degree of difficulty of breathing, etc. But depending on one’s motivation for wearing it, those issues are forgotten quickly. My motivation is to keep caring for patients while avoiding dying from a highly contagious respiratory pathogen which, given my cardiac history , would likely be fatal. There may be an adapter kit that fits on the inside of the lens that would hold special eyeglasses that would get your specific prescription lenses.

Answer:	Almost. The shield has a protective film on both sides that should be removed first. This helps assure you get a scratch free shield. Then it is extremely simple to attach the shield. There is a row of small turnbuckles on the head band which you turn horizontally and then you match the holes in the shield and twist the turnbuckles back. No tools required. This takes less than 30 seconds. This was a very useful product especially for the price.

Follow the below steps when attempting to "swap" out one filter in an unsafe breathing environment: 1.) Before removing the filter, take a deep breath. 2.) Next, cover the bottom exhaust filter with your opposite hand. 3.) Exhale hard into the mask - this will properly seal behind the filters. 4.) Remove the filter you are wanting to remove (while keeping your opposite hand over the exhaust valve. 5.) Do not breath in until you have replaced the filter with a new cartridge.
