| Answer: | According to the plastic wrapping of each individual pair of safety glasses the glasses are rated "ANSI Z87.1 HIGH IMPACT" & "CERT. MOD. CAN/CSA Z94.3-07". Also, imprinted in the plastic of the glasses themselves on the bar/bridge is "P Z87 + U6", on the inside of the left temple is "CAN/CSAZ94.3-07 115mm", and on the inside of the right temple is "PYRAMEX Z87+ TAIWAN".If you're interested in some anecdotal evidence: I used an airsoft pistol (a "Walther PPQ", a manual spring pistol that is rated at 300 FPS) and shot a 6 mm airsoft BB at a pair of these safety glasses from the following distances: approximately 2 inches, 3 ft., 5 ft., and 10 ft. and struck the lenses and there was no apparent damage to the lenses, even after multiple impacts. Obviously not a thorough, scientific test, but it is enough to give me peace of mind that the glasses will perform just fine under 'normal' circumstances.I'm very happy with the price/performance of these glasses!! |
