Answer:	No, the 100's cut out everything, hate them. Don't know about the 300+

Answer:	I own the Peltor Tactical 100. You can't beat the quality for the price. These are the first electronic ear muffs I have owned. Though in my opinion, no matter what you're using these for I can tell you, they're phenomenal. You can plug your phone/ipod into the Tactical 100's to listen to music and so forth. I thought this might be dangerous due to lack of situational awareness. But since you can control the volume of the music from your chosen device, and control the volume of the outside amplified sounds around you independently the feature is actually pretty cool. The experience is almost like having the radio on in your vehicle while having a conversation with someone. All in all, I've found them to be of great quality. I've never owned the Sport or 6s models so I can't comment on which would be better.
Question:	Can you tell the direction that people are talking from
Answer:	I don't have the impact sports, but compared to the impact pros, I HATE these. If someone else is shooting somewhere, these cut off noise completely. The Impact Pros will shut out the bangs and simultaneously let you hear conversations. These won't do that, they just go to full sound-proof mode. Useless for me at competitions. These are actually more comfortable and compact, though.

Answer:	Tactical sport is rated at 20db NRR. These are rated at 26db NRR. For perceived loudness, 6db would make these roughly 50% better than the tactical sports. This could make the difference between having to 'double up' with foam ear plugs or not.If you are going for absolute max NRR in electronic muffs, you can get NRR 30 from the Howard Leight by Honeywell R-01902 Impact Pro Electronic Shooting Earmuffs.I have these Peltor SV Tactical Pro and the Howard Leight R-01902. The R-01902's are significantly better noise reduction, but the electronic amplification is not nearly as good as the Peltors. However, at $75 the R-01902's are excellent value. The Peltors are definitely better, but not 2.5x better.I would never ever buy 20 NRR muffs, I've used Howard Leight R-01526's numerous times (NRR 22) and they are unbearably loud at indoor ranges.
Question:	are these gel filled the same as the HY 80's
Answer:	I would not recommend this tape for that purpose. It holds extremely well even when exposed to high sun temperatures outside but that engine heat would most likely loosen or melt the adhesive.

Answer:	I really can't answer that scientifically as I haven't tested it that way. I can tell you that peeling it off is nearly impossible and in once case, it pulled the laminate off a cabinet. I've used it to hold fire safety signs to brick. This tape is often used to hold the letters in place on exterior signage that's sugject to all kinds of weather. It is the stickiest tape I've ever come across.
Question:	How do these compare w/the performance of the Tactical Sport model
Answer:	Although this VHB will likely stick to foam noodles, the porous nature of the noodle would make it a poor surface for tape adhesives in general. I would recommend fluid or gel based adhesives like hot glue, two part epoxies, or silicone RTVs. They will fill the cells of the foam and hold onto the noodle better.

Answer:	It cuts out everything for a very short time. I expect that the electronics does not distinguish between the different noise levels but just reacts to the loudest noise. The noise is not totally gone but is muted again for a very short time.

Answer:	I agree with Branford, and Lewis implies it. The question will result in misleading answers. The impact on hearing depends on the frequency: the higher the frequency the less dB needed for damage. A gunshot generates 140-190dB* (http://www.dangerousdecibels.org/education/information-center/noise-induced-hearing-loss/); lowering the dB by 22dB would still be dangerous to your hearing. The problem is that the components of audio and hearing are far from linearly related. According to the website I cite, they say that a tractor (100dB) can damage your hearing with one day of exposure.The benefit of the hearing protectors is it cuts off sharp, loud noise. If you were to be in an environment where there is continuous (non-punctuated) noise, these won't help. Bottom line: they are sufficient even in a cement-walled firing range with AR-15s, 44mag, etc., blazing.*I do not know where they got the number 190dB. The amplitude gets high enough that the air can no longer sustain it. The air "breaks." The maximal amplitude is between 132dB and 140dB, depending on how far from the source and the frequency and your altitude (believe it or not higher altitudes can sustain higher amplitudes longer because the molecules don't smack into each other as much). Think of the waves like that you can create with a Slinky: there is a point when the Slinky deforms (breaks). What happens is the air heats up, scattering the wave front. Ever put your finger in an ultrasonic cleaner bath? It feels hot. The amplitudes of ultrasonics do not need to be very high to cause wave-to-heat conversion.

Answer:	It's made where everything else in America is made but who cares, they work great, one of the highest rated noise protection headphones out there and I own 3 sets, would buy again. If I stopped buying overseas products, I would be living in a half built house, no furniture or appliances and going to work on a donkey. Buy it and move on.

Answer:	This will reduce bass best if worn properly. Put ears entirely inside the two cups. I wear this all the time at very loud karaoke venues. Will not entirely get rid of bass. For best bass reduction, get an noise cancellation headphone.

Answer:	It cuts all sounds significantly, but primarily, it's designed to block sudden burst of loud bang. By design, it's friendly to the human voice frequencies so people can still communicate. If you want to really silence vocal range, try ear plugs.
