Answer:	Yes I’ve used these gloves for welding. Mostly just for tacking pipe with 6010. These gloves will keep your hands warm and from getting burned up, but they won’t hold up to constant welding. The stitching is cheap and won’t hold up. I would just stick to using a pair of welding gloves and switching back to these when not welding.

Answer:	About the only thing these gloves would not stop are the barbs we have on our Thorned Lotus trees here in East Texas. They produce straight barbs that approach 2 inches and I doubt there are any gloves that will protect you from these. For normal, everyday thorns they work great..... I've reordered these gloves a couple times now, they work great for me and seem to hold up very well.

Answer:	Depending on what type of barbed wire, you may be able to use these gloves. The inside of the hand is thick leather and these are very durable. We are not sure what other gloves you can use other than heavy duty leather ones like these that will protect your hands from the wire.

Answer:	It appears consistent with other gloves that I've purchased in the past that were sold as deer skin (which is buckskin, if from a male deer). It isn't cow leather, that's for sure. Great gloves in my opinion.

Please do not put it in washing machine. hand wash is preferable. The deerskin leather has a special feature not to turn stiff after washed. We recommend you to use a dry cloth to dust off the glove. Then use a "semi-wet" cloth to clean it further.

Answer:	These would not be my first choice for wet weather, the suede gets pretty soggy. I have "Wells Lamont 555L Cut Resistant Winter Lined, 3/4 Palm Dip Thick Rubber Nitrile Coated Work Glove" that are great for the rain- and are a good price too!

Answer:	These gloves are the best I have had for working outdoors in cold weather. I have XL and there is plenty of room. Probably could have fit the next smaller size, but I wanted extra room, could even put on a light under glove if needed.
