Answer:	Depends on the needle really. I work on a prison and most of my gloves won't protect against sharp objects unless they have the special coating. But again it's way more $$ and only covers the palm and face of fingers. Sides and too are still exposed. In my experience anything leather it won't punture as easy.

Answer:	I went thru 3 pairs of these in 2 months winching on a flatbed. Save your money and buy the $2 cheap one size fits all work gloves at Walmart. These impacts feel nice and they’re great but they do not hold up. Stitching coming apart, holes in fingers. For $30 I was expecting to get a lot more use out of these.

Answer:	I'm a size 40 waist. It's extended as far out as it can go, and it's pretty snug. I doubt it would fit you.

Answer:	If you really want to pick up a head that small, you can do it, but the fingers are bulky. I like then though :)

Answer:	These should be okay, but you might be able to get better Mechanix gloves for the ReallY tough stuff. I used these for autobody work, and they wore out (i ended up getting holes in them after about 3 months). These gloves DID keep my hands safe from picking up sharp metal, picking rugged body panels, working with tools, or just doing work in general. They are soft gloves though, so if something were to smash your finger, you'd feel it. I think I'd go for the "Women's Mechanix Impact Gloves" for your field (i could've use those too).
Question:	Are they cut Reaistant
Answer:	No, they will provide some protection from sharp/rough edges but a blade will cut right through these and your hand inside. If you need gloves for working with sharp objects (ex barbed wire) thick real leather gloves are the best protection.
Question:	Can you type with them on? I move a lot of 5 gallon buckets of paint, and then have to sell them using a computer. How's the dexterity for this
Answer:	You should be able to type with these. I am a train engineer and I have to push way smaller buttons on the train computer.

Answer:	The ones I purchased seem to be legit. They have held up so far. Just make sure to buy straight from Amazon.com just in case you notice something weird the return policy is easier.

Answer:	They are great gloves for handling tools. I don't think they would be good for ground/plant contact because they will lose their "grippiness". I also do not like the fastener because it is long and attaches underneath the wrist, my last pair was shorter and attached on top.

Answer:	Hi, I bought XL's both times, and they fit very well. Not so tight as to be difficult to remove after sweating, and loose enough to be comfortable. I also wear XL snow gloves. Hope this helps.

Answer:	If you need the nimble dexterity of two fingers and a thumb to label the boxes, these gloves would be good. If you're moving cardboard boxes in mass, the exposed skin will still dry out/crack. Go with a full glove if that is a concern.

Answer:	I buy these for my 21-year-old grandson who puts together engines on an assembly line. He says there are often metal burrs and that these gloves hold up really well. He said they are much better than gloves claiming to be cut resistant.

Answer:	I think they fit perfect, I usually wear a large in all leather gloves like the Tillman 1414 L gloves and I let them stretch out to fit my hands. The Mechanix gloves fit great at first wear and don’t stretch out so I can actually order my normal size without allowing for stretch

Answer:	I have had these gloves for several years now and just a little wear on the fingers but still keep my hands warm when I am out plowing my driveway with my tractor, But for extended periods of plowing in sub-zero windy weather I have two pair, one I am wearing and the other pair is tucked in the front of my jacket, when my fingers start getting cold, I just switch them out, and put the warm pair on and put the other pair in the jacket to warm up , I can keep going all day that way. I really like them. and I haven't found any one pair of gloves that will keep my hands warm all day in sub-zero weather without a little help.

In fact, getting them wet seems to help them break-in better - which unlike every other style of Mechanix gloves I've owned, these are extremely uncomfortable gloves at first. I used my mechanix gloves for firewood last year, they were comfortable and worked well but they ripped out in a short time the seems don't hold up very long especially with firewood. I did really like wearing them while running the chain saw but these gloves are made more for protecting your hands from scrapes and sharp pieces of metal while turning wrenches. I loved the pair that I own but they don't hold up to the firewood. just get a cheep $5 pair of all leather gloves you will be happy with them.
