Answer:	They'd be more than good. Used these for my construction job everyday. On really cold days in an open structure, we'd heat a metal rod with a Blowtorch until it glowed, then grab on tight with both hands for warmth. They're so well insulated, I only felt the warmth; no burning whatsoever, not even the fabric.

Answer:	when I bought my size a Lg when i got then I thought they were a little tight , so I also bought a pair of xlg what I found after this last snow storm snow blowing I tried the XLG and i find they were cold , that's because there are air pockets then put on the Large size no air pockets worked perfect not super warm but comfortable compared to the XLG that got cold too large stick with my correct size the large!! conclusion get the size that fits correctly . Great do not get wet!!

Answer:	I used the gloves last winter, and again this year in September when we had an early snow. The gloves do not protect against cold temperatures. As to the durability of the glove surfaces, I have not noticed deterioration.

Answer:	With common sense yes you can pick up plant material with thorns. I used mine to clear away rugosa rose clippings and black berry brambles. Both are very thorny and sharp. The gloves are very good if you are carrying something with a sharp edge. They take to hard work (like moving large rocks, shifting heavy garden equipment) very well too. I have found them a good purchase. Pretty colors too.

Answer:	My knuckles measure 3-1/4" across and these gloves fit perfect for me. I have washed and dried them a couple of times and they did shrink a small amount but still fit good. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No, I have not used these gloves working with cacti, but I think the gloves are too thin to use working with cacti.

Answer:	They are not waterproof. Also, the gloves are made out of a medium weight woven fabric; not like canvas...lighter weight. It has protected me from some scrapes and bumps. Thorns go through very easy. I like them for digging in the dirt and pulling weeds.
