User questions & answers

Question: Do these gloves have thinsulate in the them
Answer: No thinsulate. Just leather, but they are high quality thick leather work gloves.
Question: Are this gloves durable enough for a construction worker to use
Answer: I would say, yes, with the caveat that all gloves wear out and some are more job specific. It also depends on the type of construction work. If you are working with concrete blocks everyday, than like all gloves they will wear out quickly. For concrete workers I'd suggest a masonry glove. That said, for general outside work (agricultural, forestry, carpentry, etc.) these are still my favorite gloves. They wear better than straight leather and offer much better protection against thorns and splintering wood.
Question: Why don't they have a size large offered
Answer: Mine were large
Question: Hiw do the sizes run
Answer: They run A bit bit big II recommend getting the size that you get with other gloves. I always worn between large and medium and I got medium. Overall good

User questions & answers

Question: Need to return..... received
Answer: This is a very "it all depends" question. I typically start running in thermals at about the temp in your question. However, I don't run marathons. I have run in non-thermals from 2XU, CW-X and Skins down to around 30F (say -1-ish C) fairly comfortably after my legs have warmed up. I think I'd run them in even lower temps, provided there was little or no wind, but as I have thermals from all the brands mentioned, I run those out of habit. My suggestion would be to go with CW-X Stabilyx (non-thermal) as those are heavier to start with, plus the support system is great (for my knees, anyway); the CW-X thermals are almost too heavy and stiff unless the temp is down around the low 20sF. Having said that, 2XU compression compares very favorably with the other tier one brands (e.g., CW-X, Skins). If you are looking for compressive comfort both during and after a run, these are great. The edge 2XU has over CW-X is the thermals are surprisingly light ("are these really thermals?") yet, once on the road, they do a great job overall. Respondent demographics: 55+, 15-20 road miles per week, no marathons of any length, some trail running, but mostly road work. (Good luck to you.)
Question: can you use this as winter gloves just good enough to keep your hands warm
Answer: 2XU....always 2XU
Question: My hand is 4 inches wide. according to your chart, i, as a 35 year old man, should be wearing a toddler's small. that can't be right, can it
Answer: It is not recommended to wear the 2XU men's core compression tights while swimming, but they are ideal to wear pre-swim for a faster warm up and post-swim workout to aid and speed recovery. Product care instructions are machine wash in cold water and hang to dry. The 2XU men's core compression tights are not treated for use in water. Please note that the manufacturer warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect use or failure to follow care instructions. If you still wish to wear these to swim be mindful that salt and chlorinated water increase damage & decomposition to materials and seems. While swim damage is not covered by warranty, you may be able to maximize product life and minimize damage by rinsing thoroughly with fresh cold water immediately after swim use.
Question: do these work on touch screens / phones
Answer: I’m not sure , I do run my Spartan Races in them . I guess you could try , try are perfect compression leggings. I do like them .

User questions & answers

Question: Is this model A
Answer: The compression underwear can be used as regular shorts or as a base layer. I find them great as a base layer for my trips to the gym 3 days a week. Told a friend to try them as a base layer for his gym trips and he was amazed at how much better he felt during his time on the stationary bike. Best thing is to give it a try and see what works for your needs. I always think back to when the first pro football player tried a pair of pantyhose during a game to increase pressure on his legs and help blood flow on the long passing patterns he was running. He reported feeling like he had another gear and today his experiment into the unknown has stimulated the entire compression wear clothing revolution. I only wish I had tried compression wear much sooner.
Question: Is this only one glove for
Answer: I bought the X-Large and it measures 13 inches. I suspect the Large will also be in the same range and reach to just above the knee.
Question: Are these flexible enough for fencing, and thick/tough enough to protect hands from barb wire
Answer: I can't tell you for size small because my husband is 6'3", 220lb. They are on the small side because a large usually fits him, but these were better fit in XL. You can not have a fat belly or rear-end to wear these.
Question: What are the glove sizes for x-large and xx-large
Answer: Yes, the silicone leg grippers grip your leg

Question: Are these good for New England cold weather
Answer: There is a process in Amazon to set up a return... just answer a couple questions and all set.... Teturns are easy with Amazon
Question: Can you wash these gloves in the washing machine
Answer: Carhartt Men's Work Flex gloves (style #A547) are not lined or insulated, so they may not keep your hands warm during winter. Two Carhartt Men's gloves that give you high dexterity like the Work Flex but are insulated for winter can be found on Amazon by searching "Carhartt A547L" or "Carhartt A706." A547L gloves are called Work Flex Lined and have FastDry insulation. A706 gloves are called WB Dex and have FastDry insulation and waterproof, breathable, windproof Storm Defender inserts.
Question: Are these the best glove for working with cactus
Answer: The size chart is wrong. The WIDTH should read CIRCUMFERENCE of hand measured at the crook of the thumb. My hand measures 9 inches and the large size fits just right.
Question: Are these gloves similiar to Wells Lamont 7690 that are padded? And if so are they just as good or better
Answer: No, Carhartt Men's Work Flex gloves (Style# A547) do not work on touch screens / phones. If you are looking for a touch screen capable Carhartt Men's work gloves on Amazon, search "Carhartt A622" and find the Men's C-Touch Work Glove or "Carhartt A755" and find the Men's Stretch Fleece glove.

User questions & answers

Question: Do your hand sweat
Answer: A better choice is the Carhartt WB Dex glove for New England cold weather. You can find it on Amazon by typing "Carhartt A706" is the search bar. The WB Dex (A706) and The Dex II (A659) are similar in that they are both durable, high dexterity gloves with textured, breathable spandex shells with hook and loop cuff closures. The difference: WB Dex is insulated with a Storm Defender waterproof, breathable, windproof insert.
Question: Do these come in pairs
Answer: Carhartt does not recommend machine washing the Men's Dex II gloves or any of the gloves in the Carhartt line. We suggest cleaning your Carhartt gloves with a damp cloth and mildly soapy solution if needed, and then hang-drying them away from a direct heat source.
Question: Would my hands get too hot doing camping work (collecting wood, chopping logs, etc.) in summer? Thanks
Answer: Yes, Carhartt Men's The Dex II gloves would be a great choice for working with cactus because they 1) allow you to work with skill and ease with your hands (high dexterity) and 2) protect fingers, thumbs, and palms with System 5 synthetic leather.
Question: Do fingers get cold
Answer: Not sure about the comparison to Wells Lamont glove but it's a good glove. It is not padded but a great fitting well built glove.
