| Answer: | I don't see why not. The two mounts that came with the rail did not come attached. There were no holes predrilled in the rail. The mounts connected to the rail using self tapping screws. The end caps on the rails also did not come attached, they just pop on when you're done. You'd need a saw that can cut metal, a metal file to smooth the edges, and maybe some touch up paint in case you chip the powder coating. |

The flat at the bottom of each vertical are just under 4” sq with holes for screws. Both of ours are into the wood of a step. We drilled holes and got bolts and washers and nuts to be sure of a safe secure railing. |

| Answer: | It's been a couple of years since we purchased this and I don't remember if there was an installation guide. However, the handrail is pretty simple to install. It is very high quality. Ours is in an outdoor location that is subject to all kinds of weather and it looks brand new. |
