Answer:	In my opinion, they run true to size. I'm 6'1" 215lbs but I have smallish hands for my size so I ordered mediums and they fit perfectly. These are great gloves, you won't be disappointed.

Answer:	Depends on how big of a 9yr old but I would recommend small. If they are a little tight at first that's ok bc they stretch out to fit the hands well. They are also machine washable which is nice.
Question:	how to clean them? Mine are covered in grease and i get greasy just putting them on. Can i throw them in washer on delicate or hand wash them
Answer:	yes you can put them in the washer. I use the regular cycle and I also put them in the dryer. and they to fine for a while. I have to wash mine on a regular basis
