Answer:	They are very mirrored. When someone looks at you, they cannot see your eyes. Yet when you wear them, they are clear as can be to look through.

Answer:	Yes, they can and I do use them regularly for shooting. I like these a lot more than other glasses for this purposes, because with these, there's no rim on the top or bottom that obscures anything like regular glasses do. I've found the amber and orange glasses to be the most effective colors when target shooting. As someone else stated, these are ANSI Z87.1-2010 compliant so that's a good thing, not to mention they are made in Taiwan, and not China.

Answer:	Someone answered they scratch easy. All safety glasses with the z87 safety rating scratch easy. They all have to use the same material to make the lense to be safety rated. ALL safety glasses are the same as far as the lenses go. The only difference is the coatings they may put on them that make them polarized or anti-fog. So as far as protection goes the $2 glasses are equal to the $40 glasses. What you are paying extra for is comfort, looks, and maybe extras like anti fog and polarization. If you want glasses that don't scratch as easy don't buy safety rated glasses. The softer lense is what protects your eyes from dangerous shrapnel gettting through. It's made to absorb like a sponge.
