Question:	I ordered these in March of 2018, gave them for xmas 2018 (past the return date) and one did not work. What is the recourse
Answer:	With the lantern standing on it's top and the bottom removed, iif you look into the lantern battery compartment, you will see a stem sticking up in the middle . That stem is round with a raised pointy area on it. Look at the bottom piece and you will see a hollow stem sticking up that has an opening with a matching pointy area. In order to put the bottom on the lantern you have to match those two pointed areas together , slide the bottom in and then twist clockwise.. If you don't match the stem in the lantern to the hollow tube in the bottom piece they won't go together.

And I AM a senior citizen with arthritic hands - no problem at all to grasp the top and grasp the bottom and pull gently apart to make them light up. You can adjust how much light by closing them. No latches, no screw top, really easy to put new batteries in - there is a small panel in the bottom that opens right up. Slip the old batteries out and new ones in - VERY easy. My husband is disabled and has shakey hands and he's able to turn these on a off easily and replace the batteries very easily. That's one of the reasons I purchased 2 2-packs - so we have one in the kitchen, the living room, the office where his oxygen machine is and one in the bathroom. The little folding handles on the top fit right over a doorknob, so you can light a hallway or an entire room! I absolutely recommend them as a great buy.

Answer:	The Blazin Sun Lantern is very bright on high. The low setting gives a lot of light too. I am not sure about battery life as I do not use it that long at a time. I have used it off and on this past summer and have not changed the batteries yet.

Answer:	I can't answer exactly, but it was not as long as I expected -- maybe between 20 and 30 hours, but I did not use long-lasting batteries. Also, if you keep it on for too long at any one time, the light starts to fade out, after maybe a couple of hours. I was disappointed in this product.
