Question:	Can the battery be replaced on this headlamp
Answer:	It's a sealed unit, so not by design. If you are inclined to try, I'm not sure you will find standard rechargeables inside. I've had mine for 14 months. I use it several times a week for minutes or hours at a time, mostly on the low setting, and then leave it plugged into my van overnight after the heavier use days. With that use I've not noticed a drop in battery performance, but I've never needed to max it out. Just looked at my review again, and still stand by it.

Answer:	no, it uses a 18650 type lithium phosphate rechargeable battery that is much larger than a AA battery and fully charged has 4.2 volts. this one does come with a battery.
Question:	Can I use unprotected 18650's
Answer:	You can use your aftermarket batteries. Fenix batteries are button top or usually called protected batteries. Li batteries are prone to overheat/burst/cause fire if overcharged/undercharged. Any 18650 batteries I use are protected (means it has built in circuit board) - they cost more than unprotected but it is worth it IMO
Question:	The battery and light are all at the front, is it ok for jogging or is it too front heavy

Answer:	This headlamp is amazing. I now have three so I will always have one nearby. The package you're looking at only comes with a USB charging cable I believe so if your car has a USB port like your computer, then your good to go. Otherwise you will need a lighter plug with a USB port for car charging. Same thing for the home, you'll need a wall plug with a USB port if your computer doesn't have one.

Answer:	Yes. The Fenix HM50R torch sits inside a rubber sleeve on the headband. The sleeve maintains tension around the torch and allows you to twist or tilt the headlamp to any angle within the sleeve. Essentially it is capable of adjusting a full 360 degrees to any angle. I often use the torch when I am working on cars/motorcycles. I am able to pivot the torch so that the light is nearly in front of my face making it great when working up close where you need light. I also have used the torch to light my walk at night while camping or just walking the dog. In that situation I adjust the light out to hit the ground about 5-10 feet in front of me casting a nice radius of light about 8-12 feet in diameter. In terms of being adjustable this is the best headlamp I have owned.
