| Answer: | Yes. The Fenix HM50R torch sits inside a rubber sleeve on the headband. The sleeve maintains tension around the torch and allows you to twist or tilt the headlamp to any angle within the sleeve. Essentially it is capable of adjusting a full 360 degrees to any angle. I often use the torch when I am working on cars/motorcycles. I am able to pivot the torch so that the light is nearly in front of my face making it great when working up close where you need light. I also have used the torch to light my walk at night while camping or just walking the dog. In that situation I adjust the light out to hit the ground about 5-10 feet in front of me casting a nice radius of light about 8-12 feet in diameter. In terms of being adjustable this is the best headlamp I have owned. |

Li batteries are prone to overheat/burst/cause fire if overcharged/undercharged. Any 18650 batteries I use are protected (means it has built in circuit board) - they cost more than unprotected but it is worth it IMO |
