Answer:	Never thought much about this and two of the descriptors puzzle me a bit, but here goes: Seems to me to be somewhat of a flood effect, with a bit brighter but fuzzy hot spot. This spot measures roughly 8 inches in diameter at 3 feet, and maybe 2 feet in diameter at 10 feet. For what it's worth, I carry one of these everywhere, and has been very helpful to my aging eyes. With intermittent use, the single AAA can go a week or two (maybe more). Love these! Don't know if I helped at all, but I gave it my best shot.

Answer:	Yes it can BUT you have to have a 26650 battery in it and you must take off the tip of flashlight where the lens is off but be extremely careful because there is a rubber gasket that is very easy to lose. Once you have the tip off and the light is on it gets very, very, hot it will burn a tissue and yourself much less anything else.

Answer:	It’s not. It would require a crazy amount of wattage and MAH. The crew CXB 3590 bulb is rated at 12,000 lumens and requires a ridiculous potentiometer to get it to 50 volts and really it should have 80 for its full potential. Answer:	I put in different size batteries and it charges them up fine I figure the slide adjuster wouldnt adjust it would stay in 1 position for the 18650s if it was for that only battery if I can get some of those other sizes you listed I will see how they do send you a picture and info but it's a great charger hope this helps you

Answer:	The current draw is high in the brighter modes so you need high discharge cells with low internal resistance. Cheap cells with high IR will quickly overheat and lose whatever small capacity they might have had. However be aware that most high discharge LiIon batteries marketed specifically for super flashlights are grossly marked up ($20 to $30+ per cell) . Don't buy from such places. You are being ripped! I buy all my batteries from IMRbatteries.com. Look for cells that are rated for 10 amps or more. I use flat top unprotected Sanyo 18650GA cells almost exclusively in all my flashlights because I already buy them in bulk to build up packs for extreme long range fixed wing drones. They are high discharge (10 amps) and have the highest HONEST capacity rating (3450 mah) for the price. The flat top cells start at $5.50 each and drop in price rapidly if you buy in bulk. They also have a button top version for a buck more and protected button top for a buck-fifty more. If you really think you need more current, IMR has many 18560 cells rated at 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 an even 40 amps. Be aware that when you start asking even more extreme discharge current, the capacity is going to drop rapidly and/or the price is going to go up. Even so, a 2000mah 30 amp cell, or 3000mah 20 amp flat top cell can be bought for about the same price ($5.50).
