The 5800CO is a 3V battery powered wireless carbon monoxide (CO) detector intended for use with Honeywell alarm systems that support 5800 Series wireless devices. It provides early warning when its electrochemical sensing technology measures carbon monoxide levels in the air. The 5800CO is specifically designed for system operation and is fully listed to UL 2075 as a system supervised detector.* It contains a piezoelectric horn which generates the ANSI S3.41 temporal 4 pattern in an alarm condition. The detector consists of an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor assembly coupled with a wireless transmitter. The transmitter can send alarm, trouble, end-of-life, tamper and low battery condition messages to the alarm panel. Since there are no holes to drill or wires to run, you can preserve the beauty of the home or building while protecting its occupants from harmful carbon monoxide gas. The 5800CO is an ideal carbon monoxide detector for difficult to wire locations, applications where room aesthetics are critical or where hazardous materials exist.

User questions & answers
| Question: | My old 5800co was installed by the per mar company. do i need to have them install and program the new unit into the box or can i do it myself |
| Answer: | It should as dampers are simply 24 volt motors |
| Question: | How long will these units last |
| Answer: | As an HVAC Tech from 1976, I have installed quite a number of these. Here's your example: Zone 1 is calling for heat. Then zone 2 asks for the fan. Zone 1 will do it's heat cycle, turn off the heat and purge for the time set in the panel. After the purge, zone 2 damper opens and all other close unless there is a call for temperature change. On a call from any zone, it's damper opens, all others- not also calling- close and when satisfied the dampers for satisfied zones close one at a time until the last zone call finishes. Again at that time, the damper holds, purges, then all open unless a call for 'fan' is engaged, which runs the fan and opens the corresponding damper. One other thing to clarify: What happens if IE; Zone 1 is calling for heat, then zone 2 calls for cool? It heats Zone one until satisfied, or 20 minutes-whichever comes first. Then purges and allows the call for cooling. If the call for heat was interrupted and is still calling, it repeats the 20 minute or until satisfied routine and returns to heat on zone 1. (Using zone 1 and zone 2 just for the example, it can be any combination of zones and calls for heat/fan/cool) |
| Question: | What is the end of life date on this one |
| Answer: | The controller works on a first come-first served basis. If heat was requested first the system will turn on the heat until that thermostat reaches the desired temperature. It will then turn on the cooling to satisfy the thermostat requesting cooling. The automatic zone dampers that are required to work with this system are designed to provide the heated\cooled air only to the correct zone and should be set to open and close based upon the thermostat that is actually be provided conditioned air. So if thermostat 1 is requesting heat and is the first served, the dampers for thermostat 2 that are requesting cooling should be closed while the system is producing heated air. |
| Question: | Can you use this with a wired system to add other detectors to the system |
| Answer: | I think u need a separate thermostat for each zone. E.g. upstairs, main floor & basement. That's how mine is set up. Definitely recommend programmable with timer |
Product description
Honeywells 5808W3 is a 3V lithium powered, photoelectronic smoke/heat detector with a built-in wireless transmitter. It is intended for use with any 5800 Series Wireless Receiver/Transceiver for residential installations (for commercial installations, the 5881ENHC or the 5883H receiver is required).
The transmitter can send alarm, tamper, maintenance (when control panels are equipped to process maintenance signals), and battery condition messages to the systems receiver. Smoothing algorithms minimize nuisance alarms by smoothing out short term spikes from dust and smoke, virtually eliminating nuisance alarms.
Since there are no holes to drill or wires to run, you can preserve the beauty of the building while protecting it. The 5808W3 is an ideal smoke detector for those difficult to wire locations, applications where room aesthetics are critical, or where hazardous materials exist.
All models also feature a restorable, builtin, fixed temperature (135F) thermal detector that is also capable of sensing a pre-freeze condition if the temperature is below 41F.
- Improved Robust RF Field Strength: The distance between the detector and receiver has been significantly increased without the need for a repeater
- Smart Check: A signal is sent to the control panel when the detector requires cleaning. This allows a regular nonemergency service call to clean the detector before it goes into alarm.
- Approved UL Listings for Residential and Commercial Applications: Both residential and commercial installation requirements are met
- Additional LED Status Indicators: Identifying between alarm or trouble conditions is a snap with green and red LED status indicators. A green LED denotes a normal condition while the red LED indicates abnormal conditions.
- Easy to install Mounting Base: The sturdy mounting base allows the detector to be more easily installed on uneven surfaces (i.e. stucco). The mounting base has larger mounting ports which accommodate drywall anchors for easy surface mounting.
User questions & answers
| Question: | can this smoke detector also be hard wired |
| Answer: | Short answer; yes. Long answer; you'll need an additional power converter to give you 3 volts DC. Then connect the two wires to the two battery tabs and then mount. So for example, get a 120 volt to 3 volt DC wall power adapter and connect the wires. Anything with a battery can be converted into hardwired, you just need to provide the needed voltage from an external power source. |

User questions & answers
| Question: | As for the calibration, how long does that take? Will the unit need to be shipped out to Honeywell for calibration service |
| Answer: | They come pre-calibrated, but you can bump test them and recalibrate them yourself following the instructions via the manual. |
| Question: | Does this unit come with calibration document at time of purchase |
| Answer: | Yes it does |
| Question: | It indicates a 2 year life, does this mean it goes in the trash after that |
| Answer: | If you chose to, the 2 year is a calibration limit, the device will continue to function until the battery dies, for the price of the unit vs a monthly calibration we just throw it away and get a new one, I do not think they can be re-calibrated and I don't know how long after the 2year countdown ends it will continue to operate but ours still worked when I disposed of them. Rules require us to maintain current calibrations on our gas meters so I throw it away and get new. |

User questions & answers
| Question: | Please, I would like to buy this device but I want to provide a certificate of origin with the shipment |
| Answer: | Actually I did find 2 glitches. Tho it does affect your game-play and they both can be resolved easily. On planet Nok you meet Supergirl in the prison and she clumsily flips a switch and lets villains out of their cells. Inside that area, at the bottom of the entrance stairs, if you switch to Atom man, shrink yourself, and run through a small gap on the right side wall (facing-in from the stairs) you will fall through the map. However you just explode and re-spawn back at ground level again.Another glitch happened on the Okaara where you need to use a submersible character and open a temple where you fight a bunch of orange construct guys. You need to beat them all up for the box containing the gold brick to open. I ended up skipping the tour with Daffy Duck at the beginning of the level and attempting to do the gold bricks first. This caused a glitch where all the orange guys did not appear, therefor the gold brick would not unlock. I tried to take the tour after that, and when you reach the first area of orange bad guys, they would not all spawn and I couldn't progress. However, quitting and going back to the planet fresh, doing the tour first, then doing the temple solved the problem. You need to finish the welcome to Okaara tour first. |
| Question: | Calibration date if I buy the item today |
| Answer: | 100's of characters to choose from tho, and you can swap to them at anytime during freemode. |
| Question: | Morning! How about the warranty? I'm buying it for Mexico |
| Answer: | Every lego game has the ability for multiplayers. |
| Question: | who can i call to ask a question about my order |
| Answer: | if the game is in Spanish, also in English, but only the whole song is incredible. |
