Question:	Well is 300 feet deep will this pump and electrical cord work
Answer:	I used this pump for less than 75 ft well. Pumps good with great pressure.
Question:	Will this pump work in a 4" ID well casing
Answer:	It should. But if you have rust or dirt built up in the casing, the casing size maybe less than 4" which may cause problems for the pump.
Question:	Does the hallmark ma0414x-7a deep well pump come with electrical cable
Answer:	The cable is about 6 feet long that comes attached to the pump. You can get the electrical splices and the wire you need to complete the installation from Home Depot.
Question:	How long is the electrical cable that comes with the pump
Answer:	The electrical cable that is integral to the pump is a few feet long and can be spliced to the electrical line going back to the power box. I believe it was ~6ft. long. In the spirit of too much information: The splice technique I used was to get a submersible splice kit (available on Amazon or Lowe's). It comes with the splices and a special heat shrink tube that has a rubberized coating that oozes out when it is shrunk over the splices. I also covered the splice with 3M type 33 black tape as an added insurance policy. This tape is putty-like and bonds to itself when wrapped. I also used the 3M tape to cover all of the barbed fitting/hose clamp plumbing joints and the cast housing of the pump. The pump has been in for several months and works like a champ. You will not be disappointed with the quality and performance of this pump.

Answer:	The pump works very well. I have seen pressure as high as 85 psi. This is not recommended as it could cause pipes to burst. Set presser switch to 60 cut off, 40 to cut on.

Answer:	I don't really know,to say yes.I've only seen one,cistern here in Maine.It was in the cellar of an old Farmhouse I was remodeling.Made of brick.Is yours not deep enough to go vertical?What I can tell you,is my pump is in a 250 ft drilled well installed myself.common practice here is to install a rubber boot made for submersible pumps that keeps the pump from banging against the well casing when starts/runs.So i would think unless the pump is really secured horizontal,it could damage something pipe,connectors,ect..But Im not a professional plumber.Gould makes cistern pumps.You can find some on this website,www.rainstormsolutions.com.Hope I helped a little.

Answer:	This is a 12 volt direct current pump so you would need a DC power supply. I probably would get a pump designed to work on AC 120v power if you don't plan to run it off battery or solar power.

Answer:	I tried 7/16" OD, 5/16" ID food grade tubing. But that seems to be a little wider for the pump. I believe 1/4" ID should work great. I am going to try that as soon as I receive it.

Question:	Is the 131 ft cable the electric cable or is it just a cable
Answer:	It depends on a few factors. Pressure switch settings. 20/40 or 30/50. Also depends how deep you are going. For example at 30 feet it is 18 GPM at 120 feet it is only 1 GPM
Question:	Does this pump turn on and off automatically with water in the well? I'm looking for a pump to pull water away from the foundation of my pool
Answer:	Yes, mine is running on 115. You have to remove the back cover on the end of the motor. on mine there was a selector switch that you turn to either 230 or 115. The owners manual will give good description on how to do this. We found that the wires connected to the selector switch were not tightly secured to the switch , once we tightened them everything worked fine.
Question:	I bought the 1/1/2 in pump and it will not pump water, it runs but no water, my well is 66ft ,watewr level is at16ft,What now

Answer:	I purchased this with the hope that it will fit 3 7/8 pipe but the pipes are in Nigeria and I am not there yet to try it. However I am confident it will fit since the pump diameter is 2.75”, that leaves 1” clearance at least.

Answer:	Hello, this pump model features a built in check valve (unsealed) however this check valve is only used to prevent water from going back in the pump and causing backspin of the impellers. You can put in a second check value, but you need to buy it yourself
