Installation:

At first, put the pump totally in the water with the nozzle over the water; Be sure the pump is fixed firmly on the bottom of the fountain to avoid vibration.

26 GPM and Higher Systems

These models (T shaped valves) also have a reduced pressure fall off function. If you demand more than your pump can provide at the pressure the valve is trying to hold, the valve will stop actuating at all and open fully. Your system pressure will become whatever pressure the pump can build at that point.

Cycle Sensor Pump Monitor

The Cycle Sensor is a system monitor that detects Rapid Cycle and Dry Run and reacts to either of these conditions by shutting down the pump. It does not control or prevent rapid cycle or dry run but protects your pump in the event these problems occur.

Answer:	I returned this one as it was not as described. The T-fal that I have now is 1700W but it needs to be a higher wattage to keep the oil temp steady. I even tested it with a thermometer that is meant for frying oils and proved the temperature was way below what the "dial said it should be" but the manufacturer refused to believe the pictures I sent them to prove it. Told me I must have tested it wrong. They totally ignored the pictures that showed the food looked like it was just sitting in the oil and not frying in the oil.

Answer:	It’s a plastic material. The design doesn’t have much flexibility, but it holds typical bottles from Camelbak, Purist, etc. It won’t hold oversized bottle, but undersized bottles won’t slip out (though they might bounce out). I went OTB and the bottle held firm. I don’t buy any other bottle cages, but I just use standard sized bottles.

Answer:	Not really. I've certainly had bottles fall out. I think the bontrager side loading cages are the best. But side loading cages are only acceptable of you need them. If you can fit a standard cage then you should use a standard cage.
Question:	Am I able to connect a standard garden hose straight to this pump without any adapters
Answer:	Any standard cycling water bottle will fit, even the extra tall or insulated ones I have. Tall Starbucks hot drinks also fit kinda handily, but the bigger ones get pushed out or the lid falls off.
Question:	Will this pump run with out water in it
Answer:	No. You use the mounts already drilled on the frame.

Question:	I currently have window well pumps that "check" for water every so often. Wondering how the thermaplastic holds up in winter/cold? Any concerns
Answer:	This is our first winter for the pump. Ours sits in a bucket with washed stone under and around the bucket. Our window well is also covered for the winter . We'll find out for sure in a couple months.
Question:	Can I leave this pump outside year round? Will it freeze up? How cold can it be before I have to take it inside
Answer:	I packed up the pump and stored it indoors for the winter. The freezing and thawing will not be good for the unit.
Question:	Is this pump corrosion resistant
Answer:	Yes
Question:	is check valve required
Answer:	A check valve is not required, but would be a good idea to have one on the pump.
