Answer:	I asked the manufacturer for the thermostate info. It has a knob on top from 1-5. 1-60.8°f 2-75.2°f 3-89.6°f 4-104°f 5-118.4°f He also said that they could vary slightly from heater to heater.

Answer:	The fan will mount on the back of the heater. There is a punch out that will be removed and the fan will go in it's place.

Answer:	In short yes. we have this on the first floor of our house. it is not yet winter, but this is a 30,000 BTU heater; it heats the entire house fast - like 20 mins upstairs and down. I would say the same for a two car garage. I plan on moving this unit to the basement shop which is exposed to ground level in the back and unheated; basically a 1 car garage back there and I expect this to out perform. I will add one thing: this is the blue flame unit. I have had shop heaters before and prefer the radiant heaters (of which Mr Heater makes one just like this) - they have the clay looking elements in them that glow red/orange; those heaters will heat things in the space and then those items give off the heat. I used to aim one at my roll away tool box. in an area where you might have a lot of space up above, such as a loft the radiant version of this heater may be better as it will heat the items it is near with less heated air floating up. either way, this is a safe bet.

Answer:	It has a pilot lit that will stay lit at all times, unless you turn the dial to the Off position. The heater will start up when the thermostat dial settings determines that it's time to turn the heater on.

Answer:	Hot water is only produced when there is demand for it and there is a short delay while the water is heated. So, you can get a momentary cool water output, but I would not call it a problem. In fact, I hardly notice if it happens.

Answer:	The Rheem RTG series are Direct Vent indoor and outdoor models; the Rheem Prestige™ RTGH is a series of high efficiency condensing tankless indoor and outdoor gas water heaters designed for continuous hot water.
Question:	how much gas does this use at when running. How many CCF. I currently have a 80 gallon high efficiency hot water now. Can I use this connection or do I need to run a 3/4 in gas line directly from the meter
Answer:	The Rheem water heater uses 199,000 BTU or about 200 CF or 2 CCF. The Rheem installation manual is available on the Rheem web site. On page 53 of the manual, the manufacturer lists the minimum NG pipe size as 3/4 inch diameter. Typically, a tank type water heater has a 1/2 inch supply line that is reduced from a 3/4 inch or larger main supply line. So, you will need to replace the smaller gas line from the original reduction point to your new Rheem tankless water heater.
Question:	I own a 4 bedroom house. I noticed Home Depot has a Rheem Ecosense 200DVLN. Would this one you have be sufficient
Answer:	Based on Rheems' product information on their web site and the product specifications on The Home Depot web site, Rheem makes two sizes of tankless natural gas fuels water heaters. One is rated at 8.4 gallons per minute and the other size is 9.5 gpm. Rheem also makes these two sizes in both "condensing" type and "non-condensing" type. The Rheem Ecosense line seems to be just a slight re-branding for The Home Depot and the re-branded product does not seem to be any different than the standard Rheem product sold on Amazon. The Rheem Ecosense ECOH200DVLN at The Home Depot seem to be the same as the RTGH-95DVLN 9.5 sold on Amazon. they are both condensing type (most efficient and easiest to vent) an they both produce a maximum of 9.5 gpm of hot water. Both are the largest capacity models made by Rheem. I have a 4200 sq. ft home with three bathrooms. We can have two showers going and the dishwasher with no reduction in hot water temperature even in the winter (near Chicago) when the inlet water is very cold. So, I would say that the Rheem RTGH-95DVLN 9.5 gpm unit will meet your hot water needs.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by which one. This one as best I can remember came with feet, but is very on the back and sides and could be wall mounted. Unless you have a very large bathroom or no other heat in your house this heater would be very adequate. I love mine.

Answer:	It would be dangerous to run this in such a confined space. I live in a large old drafty house and the heater is in a room 16x16 foot room that has 14 foot ceiling. Get a heater designed for and RV. Ideally electric to reduce risk of asphixiation....

Answer:	It has no exhaust port. It's made to be safe (like a gas oven) not having a vent. I use my to pretty much heat my whole little house and have never noticed a problem. Many gas fireplaces are made the same way.

Answer:	Hold up there, previous answer, not so fast. It is true that you should not have both the hot water heater and furnace venting directly into the flue, combining the exhaust. However, some people see their vent pipes entering the flue (or chimney wall) and assume they are both releasing the fumes inside the chimney. In some cases, the venting pipes continue separately up the flue. Joseph, if you have two vent pipes entering your flue, there is a chance that both pipes continue separately up the flue and out the top. If that is the case, you may be able to use the existing hot water vent system. When you look at the top of your chimney, do you see two terminations coming out?
Question:	How does very cold intake water affect performance
Answer:	Sorry to contradict but the temperature of the water going into the water heater will definitely have an effect on the temperature of the water coming out. the water heater needs to provide enough BTUs to heat the volume of water that you need to the water temperature that you want. If the water starts off at a lower temperature it will take more BTUs to get it to the temperature you want. This unit claims to be able to provide 6.6 gallons of hot water per minute but that assumes the water is startling an average temperature. If you have a modern shower head it will only use about 2.5 GPM but if you have second shower going, a hot water faucet open or a clothes washer filling at the same time you will run out of capacity quickly. Rinnai should have tables on their website that shows the ability of the unit to heat water at a variety of starting temperatures to a range of hot water temperatures at a given flow rate.

Answer:	The EZ Ultra HE has two heat exchangers. The primary one that is heated by the gas burners appears by color to be copper. The other heat exchanger, designed to pre-heat the incoming water by the hot exhaust gas, seems to be integrated deeply enough into the exhaust system that I can't suss much detail of its construction.

Answer:	The manuals don't say for certain, but this unit can operate at very low GPM flow (.6) and pressure (8 psi). I have mine installed at a beach house, so I'm not a good candidate to vouch for the elevation compatibility. You might have to call EZTankless for the engineering answer. I will say that I am very pleased with the installation and operation of my unit. It has worked flawlessly and is super efficient. I use a Wifi switch to turn it off/on when I'm not there for an extended period of time. It lowered my utility bills by about $75 month.

Answer:	Liquid propane gas is LP gas .... it’s the same thing. I would not buy this product because the company will not respond by email or phone call.

Answer:	I did not but can not see why you could go though roof

With flow rates up to 6.5 gallons per minute the NRC66DV delivers the highest flow rates in its category and can be vented using 3" Schedule 40/80 PVC, PP or CPVC.  Various adapters and terminations are available to allow for a wide array of venting options.  This unit ships complete with a 6' power cord.  IK-WV-200-1-XX-LF valve kit (required for installation) is sold separately. Answer:	Should be no problem, since it is high efficiency, just vent both directly outside with pvc and a screened downed turned elbow, they are already the proper distance apart for min clearances of each other. Exhaust needs to be min of 8" from window or door.

Answer:	Should be more than adequate for multiple simultaneous showers (depends on type of shower head, temperature you like the water, etc.). I often shower while the washing machine is running with no problems. This unit has performed well for us.....hopefully it will be durable as well (in service about 7 Mos so far).
