Answer:	First you need to remove the old lever. Take the lid off of the tank, then remove the flapper valve chain from the end of the flush lever. You will find a nut on the inside of the tank which holds the lever in place, unscrew that nut (taking in count that the nut is reverse threaded) then pull the old lever out of the hole. Take the nut off of the new lever and set it aside, slide the new lever through the hole and use the new nut to secure it to the tank. Replace the flapper valve chain and test the flush system.

Answer:	It didn't fit mine. The angle of the long white piece was curved not allowing it to attach to the shaft of the stopper. Had to go to Home Depot for a universal handle that works perfectly.

Directions For Use:

1.) Turn off the water supply. Flush the toilet to drain all of the water

from the tank.

2.) Remove the overflow/overfill tube from the top of the flush valve.

3.) Unscrew the top holding the flush valve tower from being removed.

Remove the tower.

4.) Grab the old seal and pull gently in a circular motion to free it.

Remove the old seal.

5.) Replace the old seal with the new seal. As you do so, work around

the bottom of the flush valve in a circular motion to seat the new seal

in the groove.

6.) Replace the tower, screw the top piece back on, replace the overflow/

overfill tube and turn the water back on. You're all set!

Answer:	There's air in the waterline. Shut off main water valve & open all faucets,flush toilet,then open the main valve.Then go & close each faucet.This should solve your problem.If not,then it's your toilet that has an air leak somewhere.

Answer:	The best (and in my recent case, the only) approach is to replace all of the parts in the tank. This is necessary every few years. One may find the model number inside the tank printed on the back side. Find out which replacement parts are needed by visiting http://www.mansfieldparts.com/. I then ordered mine from Amazon.com. The newer parts are easier to install than the older parts are to deinstall. You will have to shut off the water supply valve (located below and near the tank on the wall). Flush to drain the tank. Take the tank off. Replace the parts. It is not difficult but my first time took over and hour. No doubt there are Utube videos for step-by-step instruction. This will completely solve all problems. Otherwise one will be chasing issues until a complete replacement is unavoidable. If you really do not want to do the complete replacement, then replace just the anti-siphon ballcock (the tall inlet valve on the left in the tank). You do not have to remove the tank. If the toilet "runs," then you will have to replace the flush valve in the center of the tank, which requires removing the tank. That's why I prefer to just do it all at once and get it over with. If you have not performed complete replacement surgery on a toilet tank, then this will seem overwhelming at first. You will need access to a set of socket wrenches to get at the nuts under the tank (for the older style ones). If the retainer ring on the bottom of the (removed) tank is difficult to turn, I used a phillips screwdriver as punch and pounded it against the ridges to loosen it. I'm quite sure that none of this is what you wanted to hear. I didn't either. If you venture forth, take a picture of the inside of the tank before you start. It's comforting at the least.

Answer:	If I'm not mistaken this unit has threaded connection and the bolts you are referring too are probably the ones holding the tank to the bowl and are a separate item when I did mine I replaced everything amazon has all the parts for everything in your toilet. the first answer was pretty good. I used a different fill valve with a float type rather than the old toilet bowl type. Hope this helps.

Answer:	MINE is matte black and not flimsy at all. Answers to questions are wrong because. different people purchased different options. Example: Q: Is the gold a shiny gold, matte or bronze? Thanks! A: Silver matte By Dog Mom rescuer on April 28, 2019 This person answered a question about the gold option with "silver matte". Obviously they own the brushed chrome version. To answer the actual question: I did hang mine vertically. It worked well for bathroom. Just know it needs one single screw you need to hang it where there is a stud to put it in. Horizontal or vertical irrelevant, just important you have the one stud. My black iron look is matte black paint over steel and if for any reason I wanted to change the color, I'd light sand it and use a rust-o-leon type paint. The seller has a storefront Amazon page. If you have questions about one of the options, just email him and ask what was used to create your choice color. They may all be painted steel no matter which you buy.

Answer:	It comes with an Allen wrench and a silver plate. Screw the silver plate into the wall and then the holder goes on with the Allen screw using the Allen wrench. You can hang it like the pic shows but I hung mine straight up. Hope this helps.

Answer:	First off make sure you get the right part for your toilet brand and model. Look at the inside of your toilet tank cover and you can find the model number. Type the model number and it will show which fill valve is compatible. Since this is the original part that's fully compatible to my toilet brand and model, it fits like a glove, and easy installation and works very well ever since. I don’t know the answer to your question. so I looked it up from the internet and found a web page that may help you diagnose the problem. The plumber updated the flush valve to a newer model the last time he worked on our toilet tank, so it was real easy for me to install the fill valve. Answer:	I am not positive my toilet is a model 160 but after buying 3 handles at Home Depot that did not work on my Mansfield toilet I bought the Mansfield #40 tank lever and it worked great. Answer:	Sometimes the name brand is printed on the toilet bowl just in front of the tank. You can look in the lid of the tank and find a number either printed or molded into the ceramic/china. My Mansfield toilets have the name Mansfield right on the bowl just above the lid hinge etc. You close the toilet seat down and should be able to see the name. Mansfield web site has some good information as well as far as models this fits etc.
