Insert the convex on the sensor into the slot of the metal holders.

Attach the clip of the chain to the connector of the wheel of the controller.

Answer:	It may. Have used these auto flush over 2yrs. in this very busy retail store. Have had two devices fail causing continuous flushes. Did return faulty units and re-ordered additional ones. No further issued encountered.

Answer:	I purchased 3 units in December of 2015 for the church sanctuary urinals and have yet to replace the original batteries.I would guess about 20 to 30 flushes each Sunday for a average of 100 flushes a month.That's over 2,000 flushes for a period of over a year and a half.Very happy with the units.Keep in mind they have manual a manual flush button as well if needed. Not all units have that.

Answer:	The picture is shown vertically rather than the normal way you would see it, which is horizontally. If for some reason the auto-flush does not work, you can press on that black plastic piece to manually flush. These things are great. Takes less than 10 minutes to install replacing the flush handle, and the batteries last at least 4 years before they have to be (easily) replaced.
