After installation, the shower head will be about 7 inches higher than the exit from the wall--or about 8 1/2-9" higher than a normal shower head. This has been a huge improvement. My house was built about 1960, and the shower was really uncomfortable--this was a major improvement. (Now, if they will just figure out how to make the shower stall bigger!) Really a great product. |

| Answer: | They are interchangeable. However, I found that one side screwed into the wall pipe perfectly right with the arm in the downward position. When I tried to flip it, the arm was pointed toward the ceiling when it was good and tight. So i either had to leave it not as tight (couldn’t do without worry about a leak) or flip the arm. That may not be the case every time, depending on the threading of your wall pipe. |

These lights are not sealed tight. My lights have been out in rain and snow and have had no problems with them so far. |
