Question:	Will this work with an air switch
Answer:	This particular unit comes with a cord with a plug. You plug it into a switched wall socket to operate. But you can buy a version that is meant to be hard-wired to a switch, and that can switch can be an air switch as much as it can be anything else. I think ANY disposal can be used with an air switch if wired properly.

Question:	If no power cord is included, how do I plug in the disposal unit
Answer:	Hard wire so it works off of the switch beside your sink. I have never heard of an electrical outlet under the sink. So the power cord is throwing me! Our last disposal was hard wired like the one it replaced. So....I dont know why they are all coming with power cords now.

Answer:	This is simple to replace, no need to hire a plumber. The tool you need that will help the most is a car jack which comes with most car. Spend 5-10 minutes reading the installation manual along with studying the parts of the way your old disposer looks installed, take a couple of pictures before uninstalling. Remember how you uninstall it, and perform the steps in reverse and follow the installation manual. Remove the old wire which needs a little brute force, and install it to the new disposal unit. When ready to install the new disposal unit, place the car jack under the new disposal unit and jack it up close to the connection under the sink and use the included wrench to tighten the unit to the under sink connection until it clicks. I didn't replace the sink connector, but it shouldn't be hard to replace if you follow the instruction manual. Goodluck!
Question:	I have a badger 5 it is leaking water at bottom near reset bottom plus does a new one came with a ss ring for inside the sink
Answer:	We have the same problem. Our disposal is an In Sink Erator Badger 5 that was installed 10-4-05. We just discovered that it is leaking at the same place your unit is leaking. It came with a 2 year warranty, and is now almost 8 years old. I have not yet called a plumber. My best guess is that we will have to replace it, unless someone provides a better solution to the problem. For info - Our cost for the unit in 2005 was: Parts - $84; Labor - $105.50; total cost - $189.50

Answer:	Yes it does
Question:	do i need to purchase the dishwasher connector
Answer:	We replaced our disposal so we had a dishwasher previously connected and did not need a dishwasher connector. So if you are just replacing your disposal you likely have what you need to connect the dishwasher. If putting in for the first time you might need a connector.
Question:	Can I use this with my own sink flange
Answer:	Probably yes, based on my own experience. We had an Emerson a long time ago (15 years) which went bad and I replaced with the 1/2 HP Badger. Did not have to change the flange. It was a real "in place drop-in". Last week, the Badger died (lasted about the 15 years I mention), and I bought this one as replacement. I did not replace the flange again. It was another "drop-in" although I had to install a wall outlet under the sink to plug it in. No problem with one of those blue boxes.
Question:	Will this fit the space where there's now a badger 5 1/2hp? i.e., is the 5xp 3/4hp any bigger

Answer:	I am still getting over 4 gpm through the unit, so apparently it is not restricted in the tankless booster.

Answer:	I will either heat up water to put into your tank to help you get more total gallons or if on the outlet side will take the water as it cools down from the tank and heat it up, increasing the total gallons that way. Answer:	Sure, you can, not sure why you would, but the megaboost gives 10kw heat to the water and does not restrict flow like a normal tankless water heater. so, in your use case, you could expect that the megaboost would preheat the water going into your natural gas tankless, allowing it to produce more and hotter water. Answer:	It's not hateful. Compare to my older model it's a little smoother and quitter.

Answer:	There is no on/off switch. The disposal is supposed to be wired to a "light switch" that turns it on and off. In my case, it's wired to a plug under the sink that is controlled by a light switch next to the sink.

Answer:	I believe the only difference is the 3/4 size from the inlet to the bottom so the 1/2 is shorther and the 3/4 is a bit more rounder it will fit just fine.
