User questions & answers
Question: | Is the pinless adapter upgraded in this model |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | What’s the difference between this and the |
Answer: | The difference is toolless or tooled blade changes. That's the only difference I found in the 2 units. |
Question: | What blades are you all using |
Answer: | I use spiral blades which, unlike regular flat blades, you can cut by pushing and pulling your piece being cut. |
Question: | I am new to scroll saws so have to ask. Is it worth the $40 difference in price for the 3921 over the 3920 and why |
Answer: | this model(3921) replaces the 3920, they added a few features and the pinless clamps to the mix. the price difference is for the design changes and the extra pieces they add. 3921 is better than the 3920 when you count in the extra features. |
Question: | does it come with sand paper |
Answer: | Ours didn't. But just cut a full sheet in half and half again. Love how well it works. |
Question: | is it ok to use on an old desk? I am concerned about the circar pattern of this sander, I won't be able to follow the grain of the wood |
Answer: | It's a small orbit, about 1/16", like a vibration. For $30 give it a try. If you use fine paper on the last pass and move the sander in the directionof the grain, should be ok. I think it's agreat little tool. |
Question: | What about the cutted sections in the sandpaper |
Answer: | Hi, Put the sandpaper section on the sander. The sander came with a black square item that has spikes. Push the sander over the spikes and the holes in the sandpaper will appear. Also the holes are only needed if you want to collect the dust in the bag. I do not use the collection bag. |
Question: | Where do I find refills online for the 1/4 sheet |
Answer: | What is "Full Sized Sheet"? , I see 8 1/2 x 11 and 8 x 10. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the fit the Powermatic 141? The table depth is 15" is there a larger model I can purchase |
Answer: | Sorry, I installed it on a Delta and I don't have any experience with a Powermatic. |
Question: | Will this fit a shopfox w |
Answer: | I installed it on a Delta, no experience with a Shopfox |
Question: | Is it possible to adjust this fence so it is parallel with the way the blade wants to cut and not the table |
Answer: | I hope not… In the long run it is better to adjust the saw so that it cuts true to the fence and miter slot. Start by setting the tracking so that the blade runs on the center of the upper wheel (and is thus centered on the crown of the wheel). Then set the fence so that it is parallel to the miter slot. Finally adjust the table (by loosening the trunion mounts) so that it is parallel to the blade – make a test cut along the fence, the piece should run true to the fence and the blade should be centered in the cut. Once you get the saw tuned it will stay that way as long as you are using a sharp blade and adjust it to track on the center of the upper wheel. |
Question: | will this fit a ridgid 14" bandsaw? it has a 14 1/4 x 14 1/8 size table ! thanks |
Answer: | The Grizzly Resaw Fence is designed to fit a wide variety of 14 inch bandsaws. The Grizzly website indicates it fits bandsaws with a 14 inch deep table (from front to back). While I do not know exactly which Ridgid 14 inch bandsaw you have it looks like you have the proper table size for the Grizzly resaw fence. The only thing to consider is the hole location on your bandsaw table vs the hole location of the Grizzly fence when mounting the resaw fence. I have an older Delta bandsaw and the holes lined up with no problem. Otherwise, you will have to drill a matching hole in one or the other to line things up. You can always call Grizzly Industrial if you have any further concerns or questions. Their website gives a phone number of 1-800-523-4777. Lastly, I am very happy with the Grizzly H7587 Resaw Fence and enjoy using it. |

At JET Tools, we see a future built on great brands, products, and people. In every facet of our business, we leverage the strengths of our global infrastructure to maximize the benefits of all three.
The JET 708675PK XACTA SAW Deluxe 3 HP, 1Ph, 50-Inch Rip Fence is a high-performance cabinet saw with a full range of high-end, innovative features. Featuring a quick-release riving knife and integrated arbor lock for safe, efficient operation, this powerful machine is one of the most accurate, most versatile, and smoothest-running cabinet saws currently on the market. It includes an enclosed cabinet with a built-in sealed storage drawer.
Large Cast-Iron Table and Trunnion for Versatile, Vibration-Free OperationThe XACTA features a large, finely ground cast-iron table measuring 29 x 42 inches (with extensions) to provide plenty of work surface for large jobs, including 10 inches of clear table in front of the fully raised blade. Under the table you'll find a heavy-duty, wide-stance cast-iron trunnion mechanism--the heart of the saw's remarkable performance, stability, and nearly vibration-free operation.
Conveniently Mounted Operating Mechanism for Easy Miter Slot Alignment
The XACTA's operating mechanism is conveniently mounted directly to the all-steel cabinet, which makes aligning the miter slot in the cast-iron table with the blade as easy as loosening four hex head cap screws, all of which are accessible from the outside.
Cast-Iron Handwheels for Precise Height Adjustments
Made using a pair of heavy, eight-inch diameter, cast-iron handwheels (with spinner handles) that operate machined worm gear drives, the bevel and blade height adjustments are precise, effortless, and designed to remain smooth after years of use. Even the locking pins at the center of each handwheel are all steel and precision-machined so that when they are applied there is no creep or change to that setting.
Left-Tilting Design for Safe, Burn-Free Bevel Cuts
The XACTA saw is a left-tilt machine, meaning the blade tilts away from the fence. When cutting bevels, this allows the scrap to fall freely onto the table and prevents your work piece from becoming trapped between the fence and the blade, ensuring safer, burn-free cuts.
Powerful 3 HP Motor and Poly V-Belt System for Smooth Operation
The XACTA comes equipped with a 3 HP motor (power rated based on continuous duty cycle) that's rigidly mounted directly to the under-table mechanism. Power is delivered to the blade through a pair of precisely machined pulleys and a super-efficient poly V-belt to provide smooth operation, resistance to slipping, and very low heat generation. Additionally, a push-button arbor lock allows for rapid blade changes.
Exclusive 50-Inch Commercial Fence for Improved Accuracy and Performance
The XACTA comes with an exclusive 50-inch commercial Fence II with T-square design to enhance accuracy, performance, and safety. It uses high-end materials that are precisely welded to make a tough, accurate fence system. For instance, the T-square head has simple adjuster screws and an adjustable magnified cursor built right in, and the locking mechanism is made from powdered metal parts for extended durability.
Industrial On/Off Switch to Protect the Motor
Fully wired internally, the XACTA includes an industrial magnetic on/off switch to protect the motor from dangerous power fluctuations. It also prevents the saw from restarting unexpectedly after a power failure by requiring the operator to press the "on" button to restart the saw.
Safety Features to Enhance Efficiency
The XACTA also comes with a high-tech modular blade guard, anti-kickback pawl, and riving knife assembly to improve efficiency and help keep you safe in a wide range of situations. Additionally, like the riving knife, the dust shroud is mounted to the same cast-iron boss as the blade. That means it "follows" the blade through height and bevel changes to maintain maximum effectiveness.
Full-Featured Miter Gauge for Precision and Consistency
Finally, the JET Deluxe XACTA Saw comes with a full-featured miter gauge with a 17 3/4-inch long bar that follows the miter slot smoothly and accurately. A disc at the bar's leading end engages the T-shaped miter slots and prevents the miter gauge from lifting during a cut. For added convenience, the miter gauge fence can turn 60 degrees left or right, and it locks easily at any point, including at the adjustable presets of 90 and 45 degrees, with a twist of the handle.
The XACTA measures 36 x 38 x 85 inches, weighs 510 pounds, and is covered by a five-year warranty.
About JET: A History of Sharing New, Feature-Rich Products

Sussman, took the first Boeing Jet Airplane trip from Seattle, Washington to Japan, JET began as a small dealer that sold air hoists and trolleys out of a single hardware store in Seattle. Over the years, JET has carried everything from snowmobiles, transmitter radios, and forklifts to nylon stockings, but by the early 1970s, metalworking had become the base of their business line. And by the 1980s, JET had expanded into the realm of woodworking. User questions & answers
Question: | Can i mount the axtra 8-outlet power strip on the table saw |
Answer: | Can't see why not. Look online for Garmin-compatible charts, whether from Garmin or not. (My hiking map, with contours and more trails than the USGS maps, was a free download! Look around.) The eTrex models are waterproof, which is a plus. Think seriously about the display size, though. The whole unit fits in the palm of your hand, and its display is only a couple inches high. (See the specs. I might be off a little.) We hikers and hunters can stop and consult the unit, then start walking again. Your boat might travel quite a distance while you peer at that tiny screen, even with the engine stopped. Just a thought.Garmin obviously had boaters in mind when they programmed this, regardless of its size. It even has a "Man Overboard" function that instantly records its current location, then displays the distance and direction back to there while you turn the boat around. It shows tides, too, at whatever tide stations are close to you. Bottom line: it will do everything you need (I think) and do it all day and on into the next morning on a pair of AA cells, but your eyes will ask you why you didn't buy something with a bigger screen. |
Question: | What are the dimensions of the unit on the stand when closed up. WxHxD? Need to know if it will fit in the storage cubby I have in the garage |
Answer: | The maps that come preloaded are: Worldwide DEM Basemap (NR), Digital Globe demo (Jnx) and USGS Quads - Grand Canyon National Park (Jnx). Unfortunately, you will have to get the topo maps separately. |
Question: | Does this saw accept dado blade set |
Answer: | yes on the compass (electronic) but turn on the WAAS depending on if you set the compass for a true north or magnetic north WAAS gets rid of the errors jumping from satellite to satellite |
Question: | How good would this saw be for a beginning woodworker on a limited budget |
Answer: | The Oregon and all the Garmin "state" models all have a touch screen, don't they? The eTrex series doesn't. For controls it has the Power/battery check button and "back button on the right, and on the left, the zoom-in and -out buttons, plus the Menu button. On the front, at top-right, is the main control, a little thumbstick. Use it for scrolling and selecting menu items and for moving the map beyond your location. You'll want to spend some time reading the manual; this thing has a LOT of functionality. Most important shortcut: no matter how deep you go in the menus, double-tapping the Menu button takes you back to the main screen, with Map highlighted. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Product description says this saw has wheels. Another question about using a mobile base....does the stand have wheels or not |
Answer: | It does not come with wheels. You have to either add 4 wheels or purchase a mobile base. The trick about adding 4 wheels is that it is difficult to find wheels that can support the weight, but that don't raise the height too much. |
Question: | is it made in china |
Answer: | This machine is manufactured in Taiwan. |
Question: | what base would be compatible with this saw so I could roll it out of the way when not in use |
Answer: | We recommend Shop Fox's D2057 Heavy Duty- Mobile base. |
Question: | what is the packing/shipping size of this item |
Answer: | Not sure about the exact size but it’s delivered in a pallet. Very heavy |

User questions & answers
Question: | Hello, I am new in the bandsaw world. What dimensions does the 4x6 refer to |
Answer: | Material can not exceed 4" wide or 6" high. Round material cannot be more than 4.5" in diameter for this particular saw. |
Question: | Anyone know how this band saw compares to the central machinery 4x6 band saw at harbor freight for |
Answer: | I don't think I would go near Harbor Freight. |
Question: | what is the maximum angle it can cut? i'm just looking for 50 degrees |
Answer: | The gauge on the side goes to 50 degrees. It looks like it should cut at 50 degrees as well. Without setting it and making a cut I can not tell you 100% that it can be done. But by laying a protractor done it looks like it. |
Question: | Can I cut precise degrees with this band saw if I need to cut 10 and 5 degrees |
Answer: | I can. |

User questions & answers
Question: | will this fence work with a delta TS300 table saw |
Answer: | Yes I believe it will |
Question: | Has anyone ever tried to put this on a unisaw? How is the bolt pattern matchup |
Answer: | I have a 40+ year old Rockwell Delta Unisaw and it works perfectly. |
Question: | will this fence line up with the existing holes and miter slot cut outs for an older grizzley(model G1023 table saw |
Answer: | The answer is..........................................it should. Most saws use standard mounting holes. Worst case you would have to drill and tap which is easy as can be. I've had two of these fences and one came with the drill and tap and one didn't. In any case you can get both for maybe 10 bucks. You can also drill a hole through and use a bolt. Its a VERY simple process. Be scared of NOTHING. Great fence. |
Question: | Will this fit a masterforce 10" contractor cabinet table saw from menards? i would like to get away from my split fence and have a true biesemeyer |
Answer: | Without any of my own parts my Shop Fox adapted to my 43 year old Sears contractor saw. It isn't however, a Beismeyer; that would cost approximately double what the Shop fox cost. It is a very good fence I have no complaints. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can i mount a cast iron extension table for my router on the left side? I dont see any holes |
Answer: | Hey Jeffery.I looked under the table and what I see is that the table itself is an "egg crate" casting to give the table strength with relative weight savings. The edge of the table (left side) has been cast flat, or parallel, with the outside vertical surface i.e. it's not tapered. That is good news for you because it can be drilled. The flat surface on the inside will allow for a washer and nut to hold in place without slipping. The question of router table weight is the concern. If it were mine I would provide a support leg under the attached table, either plumbed vertical or diagonal back toward the base of the saw. good luck. |
Question: | Does the tablesaw come in one box? If not how many boxes and the respective dimensions please |
Answer: | It comes in several boxes stacked on a pallet. The wooden pallet is approximately 3.5 ft by 3.5 ft and it is stacked 4 ft tall. It is all wrapped together on the pallet with plastic wrap. The truck driver moves it around using a pallet jack. |
Question: | Are the trunnions cabinet mounted or table mounted |
Answer: | They do mount to the cabinet frame, but they actually look a lot like the table mounted trunnion brackets. They're an improvement from table mounted trunions, but are not the large industrial yoke style brackets that span from corner to corner of the cabinet that many of us associate with the term "cabinet mounted trunnions". Instead, they bolt to front and rear frame struts...very similar to the Jet Proshop system. You can view the exploded parts pictorial in the manual to get a better idea of the trunnion system. |
Question: | So which would be the best saw to buy: (other than cost) the pm1000 or the 64b? and why? i'm having a tough time deciding |
Answer: | I looked at the same comparison and chose the PM1000. Reasons: (1) Mass. The PM1000 weighs significantly more, and thus will have less vibration/undesired movement during use. (2) Trunnion mounting is reportedly more secure in PM1000 vs 64B. (3) Switch. The magnetic on/off switch of the PM1000 is much more readily accessed with a knee or a blind reach with a hand while keeping eyes on the work. (4) Dust collection. Appears to be much better with PM1000, as long as one has a decent dust collection plan/system. (5) Assembly. (Unsure about this one.) I’ve been told there’s much more assembly to be done with 64B than with PM1000. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Well this cut O-1 steel 3/16ths thick |
Answer: | I think the saw would handle it but you would smoke the blade. I cut some 1/2 Black Oak with my saw and the going was slow. |
Question: | Will this work well with cutting 1.5" to 2' thick dried oak on a consistent basis |
Answer: | I wouldn’t recommend it. Mine lasted about 3 months just cutting plywood. |
Question: | For small projects (like puzzle making) would a respirator, an air purifier and a shop vac prevent dust problems if the saw is used indoors |
Answer: | I think you pretty much have it covered, the Scroll saw does not make a lot of fine dust so most of it would be picked up with the shop vac, the Air Purifier is a Plus and a respirator will protect your lungs. other than that there may be residual dust that gets on the floor but not much. |
Question: | What brand of scroll saw blades can this machine use? I just ordered it. THank you Fay |
Answer: | We got the Proxxon 02815 set from Amazon (18 pieces), consisting of 28740, 28742 and 28744 scroll Saw Blades for DSH Coarse Pin End Blades, very satisfied with them. |

The W1713 accepts standard plain or pin-end saw blades and is designed to make blade changes easy with the included adapters.
