Answer:	According to Alex Snodgrass the band saw guru with Carter power tools, the gullet of the blade is what should be centered on the tire.

Question:	Has anyone used this tool to cut thru 4 inch oak? For example table legs
Answer:	The blade that came with it is actually not bad at all as I cut a 5 inch diameter oak log from a chopped tree in my back yard down to a 3"x 3" x 2' piece of usable lumber. I was impressed. I later bought a bi-metal 1/2" 14TPI blade and installed it for metal cutting. It did cut with no effort a 1" thick T6 aluminum. I am not sure if if can do thicker as I did not try it. I also cut 1/2 mild steel bar with no problem at all. No binding or stalling. All the cuts of wood or metal were straight. You just have to let the blade do the work and not force feed it through

Question:	Anyone have tips or resources to get the saw to cut true
Answer:	What way are you trying to true the cut? If it's in the up and down cutting you need to true the guide vertically so the blade tracks at right angles to the pivot. The simple way is to use a 123 block on the vice base and a thick feeler gauge just behind the teeth and the back of the blade. To adjust the 90 degree cut you need to adjust the stop to control how far the head swings again a 123 block is handy for this, you just push it to the back of the vice and slide it to the blade.
Question:	Will this cut 1" solid 304 stainless steel bar stock
Answer:	This bandsaw will cut up to 6" round SS bar stock, and many other types and grades of steel, I am currently cutting 3" SS round stock and have cut 123 pieces of 500 @ 3.75 in long. Does a great job with all metals !! I recommend purchase a Starret blade, these will cut 5 times what a cheap blade will cut! Would recommend this to anyone without hesitation!!

Answer:	Mine stop working the fifth time using it. Resawing a small piece of oak, the motor just gave up. Also i was unable to create an account with them because PR is not in the states/country list, so i was unable to get a warranty. Wasted my money, buy a good bandsaw don't waste your money.

Answer:	I’ve only had 2in square tube in mine and cuts that good. haven’t tried anything bigger. If you got a lot of 4in beam cuts, I don’t think this would be a good saw seeing that it not gravity fed.

Answer:	I believe the answer above and information on the advertisement is incorrect. Specifically, if you go to Kaka's corporate website, you will find that the correct blade size is 13 mm x .65 mm x 1325 mm. This Translates to an M42 blade which is .5" x .025" x 52.5" This is consistent with all of the other, similar sized models currently available (i.e., Klutch, Wen, etc...), which is not surprising as they all are the exact same design.

So I went to harbor freight, there tools are so much better they are actually competing with the top brands I bought the Bauer brand hand bandsaw for 99 dollars and got the warranty. In all honesty I use this every single day and couldnt be happier, a hand bandsaw you say?? What I did I got on the website called swag they sell tables where you can invert your bandsaw to sit upright and make into a hands free metal cutting bandsaw I bought the foot control for 10 dollars like I said I use this everyday and the table the saw bolts onto is quarter inch steel check it out its awesome!

Answer:	I have had this for about a year, and have planed cedar, cypress, oak (the hardest), pine, even a few pressure treated , estimated total linear board feet to be in the neighborhood of about 1000' thus far, and i have only pulled them to inspect, clean and reinstall, and they keep going, but, i know, the next maintenance interval, i will need to sharpen them or replace them.

Answer:	You can buy them from the wen website. Just search for 6552-043. That is the part number. For some reason if you just type in blades for 13 inch planer they don't show up, but if you look up the 13-inch planer and look under the tab for parts it is listed under there

Answer:	Knives aren't the problem, the plastic gears on the bottom go out quickly. I threw it away and got a porter cable. The gears are metal. Trust me, get metal gears.

Question:	how easy is it to get replacement parts, like blade guides
Answer:	Apparently you can order parts as needed on the manufacturer website but honestly it is very easy to work on and I've had no trouble fitting my own mods, including better guides.
Question:	Where is the dust collector
Answer:	It does not have a dust collector device...you have to use your own vacuum cleaner while cutting or after you finish you work.
Question:	Does it come with a rip fence
Answer:	No. I bought a 3/8" blade to supplement the stock 1/4" blade and use the wider blade to rip with a straight board clamped to the table. It can cut thicker wood than my 10" table saw & can rip small stuff difficult to rip on a table saw.
Question:	can i split crablegs with the supplied blade
Answer:	You can, but why would you want to? With this saw, you can have *all* the crablegs. No splitting necessary.

Answer:	Not unless you can find a diamond/carbide blade - glass is usually cut by abrasion. That would be unlikely for a small saw of this type.

Answer:	The black base is 14-1/4" long, by 8-1/2 wide, and 2" tall. This SKIL Bandsaw is a wonderful addition to my shop and works beautifully! I have had mine for over 2 years now! Enjoy!

Answer:	The blade that's included is 6 TPI. This saw accepts 1/8" to 3/8" blade widths, 59 1/2" and 59 1/4" length blades.
Question:	Can this saw be bolted down to a table? To make less subject to "wobbling
Answer:	Depends on why it wobbles. If it wobbles because it sets on an uneven surface, then yes bolting works. If wobble is from an oblong wheel, out of balance wheel, or something else along thode lines; then no, bolting it down won't help.
