Answer:	It uses drywall sand screen. Yes you must attach the sand screen. If you use sand paper, the attached vacuum will not pickup the drywall particles.

Answer:	If your question is, "will this removes pieces of left over wallpaper," I doubt it. It's really not designed for that task and I think it would cause more harm than good.

Answer:	I do not use it on ceilings. I find it a little heavy. I have a long handle one that works great. To empty the bag just slide the plastic strip off the bag, empty it and reinstall the strip.
