Question:	can you use a 10 pad
Answer:	Yes that’s basically what I use is 10” polishing pad for aluminum and stainless steel. I use a 6000 rpm for cutting then use this one for final stage of polishing since it’s a lower rpm at 3500. I like this one for final stage as I can turn it down to 2000 rpm for a final mirror finish.
Question:	will a 4 inch pad be compatible
Answer:	Can, I use a 5 inch. I usually buy DeWalt products but this one I don't really recommend. I would go for the Makita. This polishe has a problem with 800 then to 600. It's very troublesome with product flying.

Question:	I have this machine...what do i need to do to learn how to correct paint to a great finish
Answer:	Go to the junk yard and buy several panels. Use the machine for about 200 hours. (No, I'm not kidding). THEN, you can use it on an actual car. Not saying that you can't use it before then without screwing something up bad, but don't come near my car with it! Seriously, watching Youtube and all is great but do not use this without some practice on things that won't matter if you screw up. Also, learn the difference between things you do with this that you can fix (like with a random orbital) and things you do that you can't fix.

Question:	Can it buff wood
Answer:	You can use it to buff wood if you know what you're doing. You need the correct compound and correct buffing wheel, plus a gentle hand. Part of the problem of buffing wood on this machine, is that the speed is too fast, so you run the risk of scorching the wood, especially if you apply too much pressure. It is preferable to buff wood on a slower machine, i.e. 1750 rpm or slower.
Question:	Can this polish rocks and fossils
Answer:	It could if you had a way of holding whatever you want to polish. The buffing wheels weren’t up to standard and the polishing compounds were dried out. The machine itself was fine.

Answer:	If you have wool buffing wheels, they can be cleaned using the AES cleaning tool. You can find it here on Amazon.

Question:	What is the RPM range
Answer:	In my experience, I believe I may have had the water flow to high which splashed onto the top of the polisher. Also I used it for long time periods (30 minutes plus). Once I purchased rubber gloves ($10 pair), I no longer got shocked. Overall the polisher did a beautiful job on my concrete countertops.
Question:	how do you remove the backing pad after has been installed
Answer:	These are made to polish stone by using a series of diamond grit pads that start at about 50 grit up to 3000 then a polish pad. They will give you a glass smooth finish on granite or marble. I don't believe the cement based plaster that is used in pools has a fine enough grain to be polished to this smoothness. Most that I have seen use a coating to achieve the glass smoothness.
Question:	Is this a brushless motor
Answer:	I don’t see why not, but I believe that Corian can be sanded and polished using traditional paint processing and buffing tools and tech, so this kind of water-only polisher might be overkill.

Question:	What is the warranty
Answer:	Why not? It is basically a grinder with water. Might burn out over time if too much torque is used. A polisher does not use that much torque. Pay attention to the smell of the motor and slow down if you smell a burning. A 4inch Makita is only 59 bucks and has the high speed that is designed for cutting and abuse. Better choice and faster production. Time is money. Good luck

Answer:	Lock nut is not included.
Question:	you mentioned var-6 speeds, not indicate its low- high speeds. they are? * above performance descp shows 3000--- is that high speed? or what
Answer:	I've used it without water and it's not good, it doesn't take much water too polish, now if you use a regular orbital sander, you can do most of your shaping, start with 100 grit and work your way up at the end use the polisher and finish up.
Question:	Stone Mason here, can you use these to cut venerr stone as a grinder/cutting tool instead of a flat polish tool
Answer:	You want to stick to 3000-5000 rpms for all of the pads. The finer the grit the lower the speed is my recommendation.

Important Note: It is very important to install the splash guard and control the amount of water used when polishing. You only need to keep the surface slightly wet to prevent dusts, otherwise water can go in the motor and lead to GFCI power protection to kick in and shut it down. When this happens, you need to wait for the motor to dry completely before push the RESET button on GFCI in order for the polisher to work again. This will cause delay in work time and affect motor life.

Question:	Is there a manual available online
Answer:	Thank you for your questions. The term universal is meant to be applied to AR products. With that being said, if the high pressure hose outlet has a 22 mm fitting with either a 14 or 15 mm inner diameter it should work.
Question:	Why doesn’t On/off switch stay on? You have to keep your thumb/finger on the switch to keep the polisher running
Answer:	1800. That is with the nozzle dialed down to a fine point. Set to a 4 to 6 inch spray width it probably averages about 1000 to 1200 psi. Good light duty washer, but for stained concrete or siding, you may want to look at 2500 psi and up gas units. This is however a great little unit for washing cars or fences or the back porch.
Question:	whats the difference between this model and DWP
Answer:	They are all different grit levels. The red pad is more for polish where the blue and green pads are for medium and more course cleaning. I use the green pad for clean my concrete floor in the garage. For inside I use the blue brush for tile floors.
Question:	Would you describe this tool as hard/easy to use? I am interested in working on slate countertops, I have no experience using this type of equipment
Answer:	I bought it for the oreck 550 machine and it worked perfect for me. I have no idea what the oreck 440 is. Maybe if you compare the measurements of your machine.
