User questions & answers
Question: | Is it brushless |
Answer: | I believe that it is brushless. I have 2 of the nail guns and they are great. Works fast and sets the nails ever time. Battery lasts a long time as well. |
Question: | Just got the nail gun. somehow it jammed as soon as placed brads in it. it seems to flip the brad. how is that possible? not happy i'm wasting brads |
Answer: | Ummm, yes, this is a finish nailer, big difference from a brad nailer. Make sure you are using 16 gauge 20 degree nails, not 15 gauge, and definitely not 18 gauge brads. This is a great nailer, but I'm not tossing out my Bostitch air nailers to replace it! This is a great supplement to the air nailers for small jobs that only last a day or so. |
Question: | Have they sorted out the Low nail depth issue yet? After some use my contractors say it wont Drive 2-1/2 nails |
Answer: | This is my second Dewalt finish nailer and I have never had any issues with it not driving 2 1/2" nails. That being said, if you are driving several 2 1/2 nails then you need to make sure you are working with a fully charged battery. I have noticed that if the battery gets to a 1/3 charge it will not drive 2 1/2" nails as deep. It also depends on the type of wood (hard or soft). |
Question: | Can this be used for blind nailing tounge and groove paneling |
Answer: | Yes but don't waste your money if you plan on using this gun a lot. I've had mine in the shop 3 times in the year I've owned it. Buy the 18 volt version is more powerful and breaks way less. I've used mine for the last 6 years at least. This new gun will not even drive 2 1/2" nails consistently through soft wood let alone any hard wood. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this a straight brad nailer for 5/8"-2" brads or an angled finish nailer 1-1/4 thru 2-1/2 finish nails |
Answer: | THIS IS A STRAIGHT BRAD NAILER. 5/8" - 2". |
Question: | Is this the same battery of 20v max drill |
Answer: | Yes. To my knowledge all "20V Max" tools from DeWALT use the same battery. I have several tools and all the batteries work with all the tools. |
Question: | Please confirm this kit includes the charging unit, battery and bag |
Answer: | Mine came w/ those items since it is a kit & not tool only. |
Question: | Can i nail 2x4 with this im building a garage |
Answer: | Are you being serious? I really hope not! If you are, do not build anything! This gun is designed to fasten trim to walls like baseboard, casing etc. A "framing gun" is designed for "framing"... Dewalt has battery framing guns, they're about $100 more. But don't buy one. Call a pro, have them build your garage. |

Question: | What nails can i put in this .. thank you |
Answer: | Orange Fuel Cell. I purchased the fuel with the nail pack for the CF325 Model. Fuel and nail packs are matched, and would be ordered by Nail Size (Gauge and Length, and Angle/degree). Example: This worked for my nailer ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002NU6HBQ/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_LsKHxb16PDPP4 ) |
Question: | can you use the 20/60 volts-9ahdwalt battery or which is the best batery for this nailer |
Answer: | I do not know. I purchase the nails and gas cylinder as a kit. |
Question: | Que medidas de clavos usa y cual tipo debo usar |
Answer: | http://www.paslode.com/product/cordless-xp-framing-nailer/ Go to the above web-site and look at the Spec's. I'm building a new home and purchased this gun. I have had other Battery powered nail guns, and returned them because they were not reliable. Nails (30 degree) are expensive, but you get what you pay for. If your going to be in a remote location I suggest you buy extra gas cylinders and paslode oil. I also have the Paslode Finish Nailer as well. Both products are very reliable and well worth the investment. I give it 5 Stars..... Good luck with your project |
