9 best hitachi brad nailers
Hitachi is a well-known brand in the power tools industry, and they have produced a range of Brad nailers that are popular among both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. These Brad nailers are designed for precision and accuracy when it comes to fastening thin and delicate materials, such as trim, molding, and cabinetry. Here are some key features and information about Hitachi Brad nailers:
Types of Brad Nailers: Hitachi offers a variety of Brad nailers with different specifications to suit various applications. These nailers typically use 18-gauge Brad nails, which are smaller in diameter compared to other nail types, making them ideal for finishing work.
Durable Construction: Hitachi Brad nailers are known for their durability. They are often constructed with high-quality materials, ensuring long-lasting performance on the job site.
Depth Adjustment: Many Hitachi Brad nailers come equipped with depth adjustment features. This allows users to control the depth at which the nail is driven into the material, providing precise and consistent results.
Sequential and Contact Firing Modes: These nailers usually offer both sequential and contact firing modes. In sequential mode, a nail is fired with each pull of the trigger, ensuring accuracy. In contact firing mode, nails are fired rapidly as long as the trigger is held down, which can increase productivity for certain tasks.
Jam Clearing Mechanism: Hitachi Brad nailers often include a quick and easy jam clearing mechanism. This feature helps prevent downtime and frustration caused by nail jams during operation.
Ergonomic Design: Hitachi focuses on ergonomics to make their Brad nailers comfortable to use for extended periods.Features such as rubberized grips and balanced weight distribution contribute to user comfort.
Magazine Capacity: The magazine capacity of Hitachi Brad nailers can vary depending on the model, but they typically hold a sufficient number of nails for efficient operation without frequent reloading.
Compatible Accessories: Hitachi provides compatible accessories and replacement parts for their nailers, making it convenient for users to maintain and repair their tools as needed.
Safety Features: These nailers often come with safety features like trigger locks to prevent accidental firing and a no-mar tip to protect the work surface from damage.
Warranty: Hitachi typically offers warranties on their power tools, providing users with peace of mind regarding the durability and performance of their Brad nailers.
Remember that the specific features and models available may change over time, so it's a good idea to check Hitachi's official website or product catalog for the most up-to-date information on their Brad nailers.

Question: | why is your shipping so bad |
Answer: | No, our planer blades are designed to cut wood, not the food at this time. |
Question: | Will this work for house siding |
Answer: | I can’t answer that without removing them but per their company website it just says for porter cable. I didn’t see any more precise info |
Question: | is this a refurbish hitachi cordless nail gun |
Answer: | i dont have them here to measure but i bought them for a grizzly planer, and they are thinner than the grizzly blades, i used them anyway, and working ok |
Question: | day with Prime, 5 days to get it |
Answer: | No. A router is not intended to be used as a drill. You would be much better off with a drill. In my experience with drills, unless you need lots of sustained power, a battery powered drill with ½" chuck would be my choice. It will accommodate any drill bit up to ½". It will also accommodate larger diameter drill bits with a ½" or smaller (3/8", ¼") shank. |

Answer: | The set I got, and that was a couple of years ago, are single cutting edge blades. No recent purchase so maybe they have made a change in current production? |

User questions & answers
Question: | Why is this brad nailer (nt50a5) so much more expensive ($200) than the other model (nt50ae2) that costs |
Answer: | It will have higher performance if it could be wet by sharpening oil or submerged by water for few second. |
Question: | Do they sell a hard case for this |
Answer: | Grits: 320 grit in blue color and 480 grit in white color. The grit had been stated in the bullet points. Please refer to the description. |
Question: | Do you sell replacement no mar tips |
Answer: | It depends on the blade's condition. if your blade is serious damaged or damaged, you should select the lower grit, from 120 to 240 grit to sharpen the blade firstly, and then use higher grit, i.e., from 280 grit (but likely 320 grit will be better) to 480 grit, to remove the burr generated during the sharpening. if your axe blade is dull only, it is preferable to select higher grit, like 240 grit to 320 grit to sharpen the blade, remove the dull firstly and then polish the blade with a higher grit, like 400 or 480 or higher, to remove the burr generated. |
Question: | oiless motor |
Answer: | It is a liner-lock style lock for the blade similar to other knives. When yoy open the blade, there is a small piece of metal that pops in place to keep the blade in position. It is easily pushed back to the "unlock" position with your thumb |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can this be used to nail quarter round to the floorboards |
Answer: | This nailer is perfect for quarter round. The smaller 18 gauge nails make it less likely to split the wood. I’ve also noticed that this nailer doesn’t leave dimple marks. I’ve used mine to install base trim, quarter round, shiplap, and furniture making. |
Question: | Is it possible to fix the safety so that I can shot without applying pressure to the nose where the nail exits the gun |
Answer: | I wouldn’t, seems like a good way to shoot your finger. Some of my guns have double triggers and it’s not an issue. Plus how would you control the depth of the nail setting action. |
Question: | why does it say power source corded electric |
Answer: | I guess they mean the air compressor is electric and it’s the power source. The nailer is all air. |
Question: | can this gun take 18 gauge headless nails |
Answer: | I got a stapler in my box, don't know what you will get! |

User questions & answers
Question: | There are sparks when the gun is fired, is this normal |
Answer: | 3 year warranty limited to manufacturing defects provided. |
Question: | can younput 2" nails |
Answer: | 3/8" is inside diameter. |
Question: | can these nail guns use 28 degree Bostich collated stick nails |
Answer: | I don’t know about more flexible than rubber, but it will stiffen up some in the winter. I’m a roofer and you will most certainly not want to be dragging it around. It’s too big for to drag around or to flip around handily when it gets caught on something. It is ideal to use it as a source carrier and run a couple hoses from it. So with that being said, I don’t use it very often but when I do I appreciate it. |
Question: | Nails...21 or 22 degree? I've read both now. Are either acceptable |
Answer: | No, this is not for chemicals. |
