Answer:	I was wondering this also, since I have two Mr. Beer little brown kegs. According to the Mr. Beer forum, it will introduce off-flavors into the keg (and also the bottles) that won't go away (http://community.mrbeer.com/topic/32883-rootbeer-bottleskit/?hl=%2Broot+%2Bbeer). So I guess it's best to skip the keg and use bottles 'dedicated' to root beer.

Answer:	You should have no problem if the beer has finished ferminting. The plastic bottles have a great deal more flex than you might think. However, reguardless of the type cap you use, don't drop one or be prepared to clean up a mess.

Answer:	You can make it in any volume you want by adjusting the recipe to fit the volume. It comes with 20oz bottles. If you want to use your own bottles you will need to make sure that the bottle will seal while it ferments so that pressure will build in the bottles.

Question:	How difficult is it to put a digital readout on this machine
Answer:	My guess is that they are metal. I've done a lot of drilling myself and haven't had a problem yet. I've had mine for 9 years now. If you buy one check the wiring, though. We bought one for work in 2012 and the wiring was all messed up. Our electrician had to fix it.

Answer:	The JMD-18 uses r-8 collets and comes with a r-8 tapered adapter for a standard Morris 1/2”chuck which is also included. If you’re going to mill this is the way to go but if not I’d just get a drill press.

Question:	i just got burnt bad from another co. on a power feed. will this feed run at the same speed in bouth directions at the slowest speed on the diel ? th
Answer:	My power feed travel's at .200 in 20 sec. or .600/min one direction and after back lash is taken up it feeds .200 in 15 sec. or .800/min. Which after 35 years in the machine shop business on a manual machine is acceptable. If you need better resolution than that you may need to spend the money and step up to a Servo brand but there's no guarantee your repeatability will be any better than that at, at least twice the cost.
Question:	Will it fit a 17mm shaft
Answer:	I had to bore the hole on mine to fit my older import 17mm shaft.
Question:	What size is the keyway on the brass gear? 3mm or 1/8”? My bridgeport series 1 has 1/8” key
Answer:	Hi, I do not know the size of the keyway, I gave the MOPHORN power feed away for parts. It failed working after two weeks. sent emails to Mophorn 3 times with no response, Then tried thru Amazon, but the time frame they give was over. Buy from someone else.
Question:	Can the adapter plate be removed? And if it can, would it be possible to mount this unit on a Bridgeport Z axis
Answer:	The "Z" axis is the Quill. The other ability to raise or lower is the knee. In answer to your question though - No. There are units for the knee but their torque is quite a bit more due in part to the weight of the table. You're lifting the X & Y axis.
