Answer: Possibly. The issue is that the aluminum is soft and has probably sieged against the steel by a corrosive action where the two metals become one. You might want to try using something like liquid wrench to reverse the corrosion effect? This tool would likely crush the aluminum.

Answer: Breaking bottles is a trial and error at best. Thermal stressing is also hard item to master. You can try re-scoring only the 1" that did not break and then reheating and cooling. Too hot/too cold will cause the area to shatter or crack unevenly. Or you can try applying heat using a soldering gun starting at the point the separation stopped. Follow the score line - slowly and carefully - allowing the crack to follow the heat of the gun. Then dip the bottle in tap water instead of ice water. Less stress on the glass. Keep at it until the bottle separates. Good luck!

Answer: This bottle cutter is more stable and allows you to cut in one turn. Others I've had were hard to control and resulted in lines not matching up and uneven cutting. I screwed this cutter to my work bench and its a lot easer to use and results in less waist of bottles incorrectly cut due to movement and various pressures during cutting. Bottom line is you get what you pat for. I had several other cutters which I purchased for way less that this and could have saved money and bottles if I had bought it as my first cutter. Answer: The strips are all or nothing. If you use them to block off an area ( or under the border of a rug), the vacuum will not vacuum or mop that area. The vacuum will not enter any area protected by magnetic strips/barriers, period. Using the in-app barrier feature might be a better method to keep the vacuum off carpet while mopping alone, as you can simply erase in-app virtual barriers the next time you need to vacuum.

I have bought both, and the softer straps make all the difference!! The straps on this design are stiff and scratchy. The width of the size small straps are 1/2”, and the med and large size straps are 3/4”. My 6lb yorkie wears a small, and my 9.7lb Shih Tzu wears the med. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the faux lamb skin straps, and the V-Neck harness of the other harness!!
